Rural Ontario is struggling @LisaThompsonPC. Decreased funding to healthcare means that it is harder for rural folk to have access to medical services.
I was honoured to speak during the ‘Keeping It Rural’ Conference in Kelowna, BC. I highlighted Ontario’s #RuralOntarioDevelopment Program, as well as our 9 additional rural ec dev programs.
A bonus was to hear another speaker endorse the value of Ontario’s #FirstImpressions program and the positive impacts it has already generated for BC rural communities.

"Fortress North America" is already being rolled out all around us. Dom and Doug spent the winter of 2024/25 in the US selling it.
Doug passed Bill 5 to make it possible, and Carney passed companion legislation federally to make it possible.
It's underway, has been since 2025.

This week’s trip to Washington was a chance to make the case for Fortress North America.
The message I took to American business leaders and members of congress was simple: Workers on both sides of the border are better off when we drop tariffs and work together to build a stronger, more prosperous and more secure continent.

We wrote about the "spa" over three years ago - in April 2023.
We know a lot more now than we did back then. Now, for example, we know the chair of Therme is also prez of Palantir Canada. 😵💫
But even back then, the parking plans gave it away - it's not a bloody spa.

This 'social media ban' is simply gatekeeping those without ID like the most vulnerable homeless population, built into the bill is policing of language, what forments hate, what counts as extremism? This bill will be remembered as the greatest single loss of freedoms in decades. They will know your name, address and other data, which will be used for surge pricing or invasive policing by already corrupt forces.
Austrailia had no luck, it was all a scam. I used to go to an internet cafe as a homeless teen to access services, can you imagine banning a young mother who wants help, or someone who is isolated and needs to get help anonymously? Or all the freedom fighters who stay anonymous for fear of their own families being targeted by the right wing conmen and the neoliberal social murderers?
The second I can't access the Internet because I lack a form of ID required by a foreign company will be my I told you so, too little and too late. Being homeless 7 times and possibly again this summer, I've lost my wallet multiple times to theft or having to abandon a shelter.
Mayors, Prime Ministers and Premiers are all failing to protect the most vulnerable and it's now a culling, democide, social murder of the homeless, addicted, the workplace injured and people with disabilities or seniors. They are murdering us while you eat gaslights for breakfast...

“Ford has money for a private jet, a luxury spa, a highway mega project & pay raises for himself and his fellow MPPs. It’s time for this government to choose public education over friends.”
The board has justified the cuts, explaining 5,000 fewer students are expected to enrol next year.

The root of the Billy Bishop Airport expansion plan is that Nieuport Aviation Infrastructure Partners (aka JP Morgan) wildly overpaid Porter ($750M) in 2015.
Without an expansion, Nieuport likely has no way to recoup its investment.

Education workers protested against Bill 28 which attacked workers right to strike. Labour unions came together for an indefinite strike and they had to repeal it a week later. Never forget, the people united can never be defeated!
