I think Ellie an interesting character but she wasn't even the protagonist in TLOU.
You cannot be out here saying this when LARA MOTHERFUCKING CROFT exists.
Let it be known: female protagonists in gaming wouldn't be where they are today without Ellie Williams. She helped bring them into the mainstream and proved they could lead some of gaming's greatest stories. So whenever you see a peak female protagonist, be grateful for Ellie🐐

Female protagonists have been part of mainstream gaming since at least the 1980s. Samus Aran from Metroid (1986) and Lara Croft from Tomb Raider (1996) were influential long before Ellie in 2013.

I would really prefer advice from people in the industry who aren't 40 years old and got a job like 15 years ago when doing it was Much easier and Just relied on being good at your job. The world isn't the way it was when you were younger and "working hard" is all you had to do.
