As a public school teacher in Oklahoma I am not interested in participating in the teachers’ unions indoctrination. Common sense teachers need to take back their dues and leave their teachers’ unions. Our profession is far too important to be influenced by anything other than student academic success.

In case you missed it — Randi Weingarten's vanity project and manifesto was exposed as a giant misuse of member funds, and she is now calling our reporting on it full of "errors.” There aren't any. If she's this evasive about something this documented, it's worth asking what else she's not being straight about. nypost.com/2026/05/19/us-new…
A new Freedom Foundation investigative report shows how the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in teachers' dues to fund the writing and promotion of Randi Weingarten’s book, Why Fascists Fear Teachers. The report, authored by our Director of Research and Government Affairs @MaxfordNelsen, is based on an analysis of AFT’s most recent Form LM-2 disclosure filed with the US Department of Labor. Among the findings: ✅AFT paid over $400K to leftist writer Sally Kohn as a “day-to-day thought partner and collaborator” ✅AFT paid $6K for fact-checking, $5,212 for Weingarten’s author photograph, and $64,090 in publication expenses to InkWell Management ✅AFT paid nearly $1 million to a liberal law firm whose attorney is credited in the book’s acknowledgements for conducting a legal review of the manuscript ✅Despite Weingarten’s public claims that half of all book proceeds would go to AFT charities, financial records suggest the charities received only one-third of early royalties — with another $125,000 paid to Weingarten herself via a sketchy Delaware LLC called "Teachers Want What Kids Need"

🚨We just dropped a bombshell report exposing how Randi Weingarten's union, the American Federation of Teachers, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in teachers' hard-earned dues money to bankroll her vanity book project. They dropped over $400,000 on a ghostwriter, paid for her professional headshots, a fancy literary agent, and even a million-dollar law firm to review the manuscript — all while Weingarten pocketed $125,000 herself through a shady LLC...

🧵Randi Weingarten and the corrupt AFT just had a MELTDOWN over our report exposing how they spent over $1.4 MILLION in teachers' dues on her ridiculous, communist book "Why Fascists Fear Teachers". In her press release she calls our report “fake”, “error-riddled”, and said we're funded by “dark money” from “undisclosed and unaccountable billionaires” whose mission is “to silence the voice of workers.” Reality check, Randi: Our report is based 100% on your own public LM-2 filings with the Department of Labor. No dark money. Just cold, hard numbers straight from the AFT’s own financial disclosure. This is the kind of tantrum union bosses throw when the receipts come out... (1/6)

VICTORY IN FLORIDA! Gov. DeSantis just signed SB 1296 into law, a landmark bill delivering MASSIVE reforms to public unions: • Raises the bar on union elections: No more low-turnout power grabs!  Unions now need at least 50% participation from the bargaining unit and majority approval to get certified or recertified. • Ends taxpayer-funded union politics: Paid leave is now strictly limited to contract negotiations and grievances (unions must reimburse taxpayers for anything else). Florida is leading America in putting public workers over big unions!

Unions know they can’t win on the merits, so they’re running to state legislatures to lobby for laws designed to make our outreach illegal. We fought this same unconstitutional scheme in Oregon, and that case is now before the 9th Circuit. We will fight it in Hawaii too.
We just testified in Hawaii against SB 3055, a union-backed bill designed to silence us and block public employees from learning about their constitutional right to opt out of their union. This is a carbon copy of Oregon’s unconstitutional HB 3789, the same anti-speech law we’re challenging in federal court in the 9th Circuit. AFSCME union officials openly admitted during testimony that the Freedom Foundation is the sole reason this bill exists. They aren’t even pretending it’s about anything else!
