CORRECTION, and a major one. Modern schools aren't built for girls. They're built for people who want to inculcate the most-compromised & vulnerable worst in girls, to make them easy to exploit. *Modern schools ARE NOT good for girls.* Get that through your heads. Do it now.
Dr. Erica Komisar just said what many parents whisper but few say out loud: Modern schools are built for girls, not boys—and we’re paying a steep price. Little boys (ages 3–6) surge with testosterone. They need to run, jump, play, burn energy. Instead, we sit them in circle time, demand emotional regulation, and label normal boy behavior as ADHD or “behavioral problems.” Result? Marginalized, stressed, diagnosed early, and tracked that way through school. Her fix if she ran the world: Separate boys and girls in the early years. Boys get multiple recess periods, short focused bursts, and space to move. Girls get a calmer environment where they feel safe taking STEM/math risks. Both thrive when not forced into the opposite gender’s learning style. Single-gender early education: Boys try art/music without teasing. Girls try science without self-consciousness. Evidence already shows it works. Parents/teachers: Do you see boys struggling more in today’s classrooms—or is this overblown? What’s one change you’d make to education for boys right now?

There will be a lot of good recommendations. Just one point. It's true about the Cheesecake Factory menu. It's the War and Peace of restaurant menus. There's something to cater to every human thought, emotion, or taste. If you like consuming petroleum by-products, they're there. If you like fresh food, it's there too. You'll want to write a 500-word essay on the classroom test given afterward. No, I mean you'll actually want to.
Dear People Visiting the U.S. for the World Cup: Much ado has been made about Freddy from Germany and other visitors from Europe, Asia and elsewhere delighting in quintessential American chain dining establishments such as Buc-ees and Texas Roadhouse. Please allow me to make ten other American chain dining recommendations: 1. Go to Krispy Kreme and get a dozen Original Glazed donuts when the neon “HOT” sign is turned on in the window. 2. Go to Jersey Mike’s and order a #2 for an authentic Jersey Shore experience (“Tramps like us, baby we were born to run”), or get a #17 for an authentic South Philly experience ("Yo, Adrian!”). 3. Go to Chick-fil-A and get an Original Chicken Sandwich with Waffle Fries and a lemonade. (Don’t go on Sunday, they are closed so everybody can go to Church.) 4. Go to the Cheesecake Factory and order whatever you want, it’s the biggest menu you will ever see anywhere. They have everything. I’m not exaggerating, the menu is SOOO many pages. And get a slice of cheesecake—it’s the most decadent cheesecake imaginable, and all the many flavors are great. 5. Olive Garden. It’s not real Italian food, it’s some Americanized version of quasi-Italian food. Go for the endless breadsticks and salad. 6. Taco Bell. Order the Crunchwrap Supreme. Best at 1 a.m. while drunk. (Don’t drink and drive though—American police frown on that.) 7. Chain burger joints are contentious even here in America. Some are mostly regional: Shake Shack, Smash Burger, In-n-Out Burger, Five Guys (those are all great). Probably the best chain burger you can find everywhere in the USA is Wendy’s. Try the Pretzel Baconator with fries and a Coke. 8. Go to Dairy Queen and order a Blizzard. (It’s a dessert, get whatever flavor strikes your fancy. It’s a lot of calories.) 9. Breakfast? McDonald’s. Yeah I know you probably have McDonald’s back in your home country but there is something about a McDonald’s drive thru off an interstate highway that is quintessentially American. Egg McMuffin, hash browns and a coffee (tell them if you want cream and/or sugar, they will add it for you). 10. Buffalo Wild Wings. All the games will be on the many televisions. Get the bone-in wings with the Original Buffalo Sauce. I’m pretty sure you’ll get a lot of recommendations from other folks on this post. Thanks for enjoying our country. We love that you love it. Safe travels, CP

Assuming the details are correct, the story here is how well our Apache crew handled it.
The Apache was scanning the night sky for Iranian threats to commercial ships below shortly after 1 a.m. local time on Tuesday when the drone detonated directly in front of it, U.S. officials said. The drone’s infrared-guidance device landed in one of the pilot’s laps, burning through part of his flight suit. What was left of the drone wedged itself inside the aircraft.  New details tonight wsj.com/world/middle-east/ir…

Seems to be validated by low inventory in travel accommodations. Reminds me of a road trip I encountered some years ago. Best Western in New Mexico; grabbed breakfast and found the dining room occupied by the coolest group ever: about 15-16 Israeli motorcycle enthusiasts doing a Route 66 trip. God bless America. God bless Israel. They called themselves "Jerusalem's Angels." Some strapped their helmets down over kippas. I hope some of our World Cup visitors are here doing the same.🤠👍
Anecdotal, but I’m seeing a lot of international visitors in the airports & layover hotels. There’s a whole group of Irish fans in the Honolulu hotel, guess they are making it a trip across the country.

This was great. I'm not a real big soccer fan, but bring the World Cup to the US and I'm hooked. Team did us proud with the 4-1 win. First goal about 8 minutes in was encouraging. Goal defense needs work. Go USA!
Wonderful rendition of our National Anthem (with Tom Cruise singing along!).

GOAL!!!!!!!!!!! USA 1-Paraguay 0
Meanwhile, USA-Paraguay is about to start. That face when your vintage pearl-and-crystal sunflower buttons haven't arrived in the mail yet, things are exploding all in and around Iran while rumors of a "deal" change every 10 minutes like a car-dealer billboard, it's 98 degrees out and you can't do anything anyway, and the World Cup match is about to start over in L.A. and it's Friday and you're asking yourself "Why am I still on X?" Go USA! All the best to all the teams meeting in this grand opening. One more shout-out to Poland's F-35 Husarz. You rock. Ride!

This is awesome. It does look like alert folks in Boston have got this properly on the scope.
What an effort from the laddie, Craig Ferguson! He’s just walked from LA to Boston over 3200 miles, raising over £1 million for Mental Health, to finish in time for Scotland’s first game v Haiti. A pleasure to see him complete his walk! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥾⚽️🇺🇸❤️ #samh thetartantrek.co.uk/

The F-35 has all the fun.
Today marks another historic chapter in the extraordinary history of the Polish Air Force. From the legendary Polish pilots who fought for freedom in the skies over Europe to the world-class airmen serving today, Poland has built a tradition of courage, excellence, and leadership that is respected throughout NATO. Today, that proud story enters a new era. These magnificent F-35s place the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft in the hands of Poland’s extraordinary Air Force—a powerful symbol of Poland’s growing strength, its commitment to collective defense, and the enduring partnership between the United States and Poland. Today opens the latest chapter in a remarkable history—one that strengthens deterrence, advances peace through strength, and reinforces Poland’s leadership on NATO’s eastern flank. Thanks to President Trump @POTUS, @KarolPopieramy, @KosiniakKamysz, @LockheedMartin for helping make this historic milestone possible.

Getting the band back together again.🤠 Reminder that 28 Sep starts the 245th anniversary of the Battle of Yorktown (1781), where the French under Rochambeau helped Washington get Cornwallis surrounded and besieged, cutting off his options, forcing his surrender in the battle, and winning our war for independence. The settlement with Great Britain was finalized in the Treaty of Paris in 1783.

A key reason California isn't attracting data centers is precisely this: the state doesn't have reliable, properly distributed energy for its existing needs, much less a set of new data centers. Discretionary blackout advisories (and actual managed blackouts) are a thing in America's richest state. That's because of a combination of idiotically anti-energy policies, from shutting down nuclear plants to forcing oil and gas out with hostile regulation, to putting in wind and solar installations that produce when conditions are right, but aren't connected to a distribution system that can make their production consistently useful, or even available. The distribution system doesn't exist! The whole thing is dysfunctional.
Microsoft is opening a brand new Data Center in San Jose, California It will sit on a 65 acre site, they claim it will run on renewable energy and recycled wastewater But get this, we know data centers use a ton of energy, so does the area have enough of this “renewable energy” to actually power the data center? Well according to what I could find the answer is NO, they do not. So it’s more of a concept (or possibly just a lie) at this point Another scam selling point to get it approved

Why would USAID operate any differently in Africa (or in Europe, for that matter) from its heavily politically biased and underhanded links to Hamas-connected orgs in Gaza, and its chronically anti-Netanyahu expenditures in Israel?
It was ALL a lie. The real reason USAID was in Africa Former African Union Ambassador to the United States, Arikana Chihombori-Quao: “They're using that open access, sounding humanitarian, to constantly destabilize governments” “We need to understand the real reason why USAID is in Africa, and not just USAID, but other NGOs They are coming in claiming that they're introducing grassroots initiatives that are going to help the people, and so they use that as a way to go into the most remote parts of Africa. When you look at it on paper, it all looks really good, but they're actually wolf in sheep's clothing.” “The American taxpayer needs to know the billions of dollars that are being given to USAID. A fraction is making it to the people” “They're using that open access sounding humanitarian to constantly destabilize governments. I can tell you right now, the majority of African leaders, and not just African leaders, but leaders in the developing world are celebrating the exit of USAID. If you think about it, their sole purpose, for example, filling in the gaps in healthcare and education, where is the change? Show me one country that USAID was in and education improved. Show me what country where USAID was in and healthcare improved?” They laundered our money This isn’t even a conspiracy theory, there are offices White House reports showing the money being sent over “never made it to ground level” Meaning it’s all stolen before it gets to the people it’s meant to help

Already disappearing in the distance, rapid ascent. Couldn't get a good image. Sneaky Chemtrail headed due East. Presumably coming to March for the weekend. Cue early morning watch for counter-air maneuvers with the Falcons. Been quiet for a while now. Just the Riverside County Sheriff helos and CalFire monitoring.
