When Microsoft releases the Copilot Super App, there are going to be a few major lanes. >Chat is where you ask, reason, summarize, and create. >Cowork is where you delegate real work. >Code is where GitHub Copilot builds, reviews, debugs, and ships. >Autopilots are where agents like Scout keep moving in the background with their own identity. The whole GAME is context. People. Files. Meetings. Email. Apps. Systems. Agents. Microsoft is collapsing work into one AI command center. Can’t wait for this!

When we first demoed Claude Code internally, it got two reactions on Slack. A year after GA, @_catwu and I sat down to talk about what's changed: why I use auto mode instead of plan mode, how routines fix bugs before I see them, why I do most of my coding from my phone now, and where the product is going

Claude Opus 4.8 is out today. It's our strongest coding model yet: up on SWE-bench Pro (from 64.3 to 69.2) and noticeably more honest about its own work. It tells you when it's unsure and catches its own bugs instead of declaring victory early. Same price as 4.7.

Introducing Claude Opus 4.8: it builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors. Available today at the same price.

MICROSOFT OPEN-SOURCED A GOVERNANCE LAYER FOR YOUR AI AGENTS and it's exactly what agentic ai has been missing here's what agent governance toolkit does: ▫️ intercepts every tool call in deterministic code before it hits the wire denied actions aren't unlikely, they're structurally impossible ▫️ yaml policy engine lets you allow, deny, or require human approval per action ▫️ zero-trust identity via spiffe/did/mtls no more 5 agents sharing one api key ▫️ 4-level execution sandbox with privilege rings so agents can't escape their scope ▫️ tamper-evident merkle audit logs for compliance and incident response ▫️ covers all 10/10 owasp agentic top 10 risks ▫️ works with langchain, crewai, autogen, openai agents sdk, semantic kernel, and more one pip install...any framework...python, typescript, go, rust, .net all supported because "please follow the rules" in a system prompt is not a guardrail...it's a suggestion github.com/microsoft/agent-g…

The athlete who sends their own email to the college coach. ... Who speaks up for themselves when something is wrong. ... Who gets to a first and third situation in a big game and figures it out without looking to the dugout. That kid was built at home. @CompleteGame has worked with athletes at every level for almost 30 years (college programs, MLB organizations, all of it). And what he keeps coming back to is this: the athletes who show up differently on the field came from families where they were allowed to fail. They were allowed to do hard things. The overprotected athlete though? When it gets hard and they have never had to figure anything out on their own, they need a script. Want the full episode on what it takes to be an elite hitter? Comment PODCAST and I will send it over.

VS Code was already used by millions of developers for agentic coding. However, the editor layout has traditionally been optimized for single-task and single-workspace workflows. Today, we're introducing a new window to enable our users (and ourselves!) to work with multiple agents across multiple projects: Agents. Now available in VS Code stable!

MICROSOFT DROPPED THEIR OWN FRAMEWORK FOR BUILDING MULTI-AGENT AI WORKFLOWS Building ai agents from scratch is a mess..tool calling breaks, orchestration gets complicated, observability is an afterthought Microsoft agent framework handles all of it graph-based workflows, human-in-the-loop, streaming, checkpointing, built-in opentelemetry. a devui for testing and debugging your agents visually python & .NET both fully supported coming from autogen or semantic kernel? there's a migration guide github.com/microsoft/agent-f… this is microsoft going all-in on agentic ai infrastructure

ADVICE to College Players thinking about transferring: KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! DO NOT talk to your teammates about any unhappiness DO NOT talk to other students on campus about any discontent DO NOT talk to that cool young assistant or cool young assistant trainer who you think you can trust to keep the conversation private You may not even be able to trust your old youth coach to keep their mouth shut (depends on who they are) Trust only your family & trusted confidant’s Once you have talked to your coaches & are in the portal, you can tell others Even then, DO NOT bad mouth your school, your staff or your teammates It’s a small, small world in college soccer ⚽️ Be smart Need help? Just ask All conversations are fully confidential We do this professionally @SRUSA_Official

DM from D1 coach on this topic: Hi Don Saw your last post. We immediately stop recruiting players who post “just got an offer” or do the “not committed” post to show off they were on a visit. We find it disrespectful - Wsoc D1 P4 Head Coach
I know in these days of posting everything you do in your day, this is probably an unpopular opinion for many but here it goes anyhow: Parent Question: “My 2024 daughter just received an offer. Is it wise to post on social media about the offer. Some say this intensifies the other coaches urgency and interest. She has numerous schools interested and visits setup.” My thoughts: I’m not a fan Imagine that you’re an employer (that’s essentially what a college coach is) You’ve made a job offer & now you see someone posting it on social media to try to drum up other offers The message you’re sending is that you’re not that thrilled about the job that’s been offered, you want something else As an employer, I’d pull that offer ASAP & hire someone that wants to be part of what we are building IMO It’s poor form & can do more harm than good. Posting about private conversations, details, offers that coaches intend to be private is not a good look Save the I’m grateful posts for THE REAL commitment! @SRUSA_Official

PSA @jeffersoncup girls team—the beautiful, historic, and elite William & Mary is an hour east of Richmond! Top 5 things to visit when you check it out this weekend: 1. The Cheese Shop 🤤 is a lot more than cheese. We will put their sandwiches up against anyone in the world! #IYKYK. 2. The Wren Building: our flagship Hallmark is under renovation, but still open to the public. Go check out the oldest academic building in the nation and where Thomas Jefferson studied. 3. Colonial Williamsburg: Duke of Gloucester (DOG) street is adjacent to campus and a walk back in history. We don’t call it the most unique college town in the country for nothing. 4. The old part of campus, sunken gardens etc. Simply stunning and you’ll see why we make prettiest campus lists. 5. Dillard Complex/Jill Ellis Field/Martin Family Stadium— just 2 min from campus, the entire complex is our own personal soccer island where we train and play. It’s only two minutes from campus. And if you’re up for it you can watch us versus local Richmond opponent VCU Saturday night at 6:30! On the practice field so bring chairs for a close-up college game experience @WMTribeWSOC #JeffersonCup #Recruiting #FindingOurTribe #GoTribe
