Looking forward to this webinar later this week! @_ACCESSnetwork
✈️Many universities have declared environment and climate emergencies and have values-statements that reference ecological care. Yet shifting practices, systems and policies is challenging, as flying has become so entwined with research and education bit.ly/4fdp2pm

Shame to see UK media perpetuating inaccurate and unhelpful 'NIMBY' discourse about onshore wind - journalists need to follow social science evidence and avoid outdated stereotypes inews.co.uk/news/environment…

Why are there no experts from the Social Sciences or Humanities - disciplines like Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology - on @theCCCuk? It's not like we're short of world-leading experts in those fields @lwhitmarsh @harrietbulkeley @BenjaminSovaco1
Our annual Progress Report is out today. The country’s 2030 target is at risk. It’s not too late to get back on track but now the Government needs to take urgent action in the next year. Let’s take a closer look at the analysis ->🧵

Thrilled that 2010 paper with Noel Cass and Gordon Walker has been selected for 25th anniversary issue of Journal of Environmental Policy and Planning. "Good Neighbours, Public Relations, and Bribes: The Politics and Perceptions of Community Benefit Provision" - still relevant!

Thanks @SaffronJONeill - Interesting findings @mmildenberger! Could the recommendation for follow-up qual research be made more confidently? I am not sure tentative words like 'suggest' and 'may' do #socialsciences or #qualitative research much good
Flood risk maps shown to have unintended consequence - they *reduced* concern about future SLR. "Overall, our results speak to the urgent need to empirically test all features of public climate communication campaigns" Hear hear! @mmildenberger et al. nature.com/articles/s41893-0…
