Proud to see @NotreDame researchers launching a free math app that helps educators tailor instruction to student needs. The app, developed by @ieiatnd and the @lucy_institute, reflects years of research on mathematical cognition.

“This wasn’t about me; it was about the students.”
Rachel truly loved every student as if they were her own child. And so help you if you didn’t match that love. I’m a much better teacher and person from having known her. May we all strive to follow her example.
With heavy hearts we share the passing of Dr. Rachel Moreno—our beloved colleague who supervised hundreds of ACE teachers over the years and also worked with the English as a New Language program. ace.nd.edu/news/in-loving-me… We invite you to share and celebrate her life with us.
It's happening. Trader Joe's is coming to Eddy Street Commons and will "anchor the south end of Eddy Street Commons." A release states that construction is underway with an opening date "to be announced in the future."

Systemic racism must end. We must act, through education, yes, but in all ways to fight injustice, especially against the Black community.
The odds that this paper I'm writing on "uncertainty" in word problems ends up being retitled "Into the Unknown" increases every day of the quarantine.
