The Institute of South Asian Studies, in collaboration with the Department of International Relations, Faculty of International Studies, hosted a talk by Professor G Venkat Raman on February 26, 2026. Professor @PROFGVR teaches at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and has recently completed his Fulbright Fellowship at the Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University, Virginia. Professor Raman delivered a talk on "Multilateralism with Chinese characteristics: Implications for South Asia". He drew attention to the multi-layered nature of Chinese multilateralism, often characterised as 'nested' and 'mandalic multilateralism'. The talk was followed by a vibrant question-and-answer session and was insightful for understanding strategic patterns that embody China's grand strategic thinking. #SouthAsianUniversity #ChinaSouthAsiaRelations #Multilateralism #Geopolitics #StrategicStudies #InternationalRelations #ChinaForeignPolicy #AcademicDialogue
