Pleased to see our work published this week in @jbjs open access. We have undertaken simultaneous analyses of a local cohort and importantly a large NJR cohort of patients undergoing Triathlon PS-TKA. (1/2)

Our results demonstrate similar medium term all-cause revision rates for both cementless and cemented fixation of these implants, which may help obviate some concerns about the former. @diamondo77 @Napier_RichardJ @torcni (2/2)

To our knowledge, this is the largest available cohort of such patients, with up to 15 years follow-up, in a resourced limb reconstruction service. We report outcomes that are favourable in comparison to previous studies that include similar patients undergoing CFF or ORIF.

The impact of this, not only on those on waiting lists, but on families faced with the decision after their loved one's passing cannot be understated #DƔithƭsLaw
From tomorrow, all adults in NI will be considered potential organ donors unless they choose to opt out or are in an excluded group. New legislation, known as ā€˜DĆ”ithí’s Law’ in honour of 6-year-old DĆ”ithĆ Mac Gabhann, will change how consent is granted. health-ni.gov.uk/news/daithi…

My dad died on Christmas Eve. He waited for an ambulance for 3 hours before it was too late. He was only 58. I’ve fought my whole life to stop this kind of thing from happening. I admit defeat. It’s over. We’ve lost. The Tories have what they wanted.
