The same police force who handcuffed Henry Nowak and called him a liar as he died, did this to the people protesting it. Nobody can say there's no two tier policing and judiciary in the UK. The whole world sees it.

PC Christi Hill and Tristan Parsons. A video Hants police deleted and don't want it out there.
Community note
PC Christi Hill and PC Tristan Parsons were not involved in the Henry Nowak case; the video shows them at 2021 bravery awards for an unrelated burglary arrest. Hill left the force in 2024. portsmouth.co.uk/news/crime/ex-… polfed.org/hants/news/202…

uh oh! 🚨 Attention Irish political journalists Social Democrat candidate Daniel Ennis was company secretary of Dominicks Bargains Ltd from June 2021 to November 2023. This company has a registered judgment against it for €28,583. The company director is Anthony “Tony” Walsh, who was fined earlier this year after Revenue seized: 44,560 illegal cigarettes 2.75kg tobacco approx €78,000 cash Walsh also previously pleaded guilty in prosecutions relating to imitation Viagra / unauthorised medicines from the same premises. RTÉ’s candidate profile described Ennis as having worked as “an operations manager at a shopping centre in Tallaght”, but his Dublin City Council disclosures reportedly only listed an unpaid volunteer role at a football club. This information took 5 mins to find. What the hell is going on?

Sorry to bang on about SocDems #DublinCentral26 candidate Daniel Ennis (@DanielEnnis2024) but how did this 38-year old father of two support himself in the 12 months prior to being elected to Dublin City Council in June 2024. The only declared occupation in his disclosure to DCC for the 12 months prior, is volunteer at a football club. The RTE biography does state that he was working for local SocDems TD Gary Gannon. Why not declare that? The RTE biography also states he worked as "an operations manager at a shopping centre in Tallaght". There is no date provided, but a Daniel Ennis of the same age was the company secretary of Dominicks Bargains Limited at St Dominics Shopping Centre in Tallaght between 2021 and November 2023. Is this the same man? And if so, why not declare that also? The declarations for all councillors at Dublin City Council are lumped together in this 212-page 20MB (big!) PDF file. You'll find Daniel Ennis declaration between page 52-62. The only entry is for Eastwall Bessborough & Belvedere sports club, which RTE says is a volunteer (unpaid) position. dublincity.ie/sites/default/… How did you financially support yourself and your family between June 2023 and June 2024 when you filed your declaration, Daniel?

Mr Byrne, don’t you dare blame protesters for what has been done to my daughter. The people who put my daughter’s healthcare at risk were not on the roads today. It was the HSE, backed by years of failure from Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael. It is not protesters stopping me from getting to Dublin. The irony is that the truckers you want to point the finger at are actually the ones helping me get through. So spare me the lectures and the fake outrage. My daughter’s health was not endangered by ordinary people standing up for themselves. It was endangered by a broken system, a useless government, and years of being ignored while she suffered. Before you start blaming anyone else, look in the mirror. Because the real obstruction, the real danger, and the real disgrace is the way this country has failed my daughter again and again.

Broken hearted to see this. Looks like some elements of the Irish Army have indeed been deployed by the political class that has treated the Defence Forces so appallingly for decades. A deep shame on all those involved, you are a disgrace. #FuelProtest

The government has decided to pepper spray citizens before speaking to them. This government is fuelling discontent rather than reducing tensions. The opposition should call a motion of no confidence in this government.

A new cohort of Irish people - farmers and hauliers - are finding out what the people of Newtownmountkennedy, Coolock and Clonmel found out two years ago... The days of the country guard are gone. The modern garda is not your friend. They are the enforcement arm of the state and they will do it with fervour. They will do very little when you need them on a Saturday night after an assault outside a chip shop, or when travellers come to strip the gutters off your house or when drug dealers set your vehicles on fire to intimidate you into settling a family member's drug debt. But they will beat the sh*t out of you when you go against the authoritarian actions of the state. Important to internalise.

The Irish Media's unbroken pattern of reserving detailed investigations for critics of the state, and never the state itself, continues unimpeachably. As one would expect when the media depends now almost entirely on state funding to survive.
