The last thing we need to do during this crisis is turn out more Oregonians struggling to make ends meet from their homes and onto the streets. I've placed a temporary moratorium on residential evictions — this is both a moral and a public health imperative.

Today, under the emergency declaration I signed on March 11, I am enacting a temporary moratorium on residential evictions in Multnomah County. Nobody will be removed from their home because of this #COVID19 emergency.
