Nestled deep in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau at an average altitude of over 4,500 m, Hoh Xil covers an area of about 45,000 sq km. It is home to more than 230 species of wild animals, including the Tibetan antelope, and is one of China's largest and highest-altitude nature reserves, boasting rich wildlife resources.
