The dandelion is said to echo all three: sun in its bloom, moon in its seed head, stars in its drifting seeds. A small flower holding a whole sky. ✨🌼🌙⭐️

Can Introverted Writers Effectively Market Our Books? Absolutely! Here's How | @BadRedheadMedia buff.ly/3Krxp3t Many writers find book marketing overwhelming. That's not uncommon, given that most writers don't have a marketing background. #WritingCommunity

My garden robin just had an ‘everything’ bath-watch to the end bc she’s drenched, spiky haired & in need of a towelling down when she flies off. One academic study shows that when we watch footage of ‘cute’* animals it dials down stress levels-my small feathered pal’s bathtime is for your brain. *actual word used in the experiment:

In Italy, recovery often starts with rest, sunlight, and real food. In Scandinavia, people still walk outside in freezing weather because fresh air is seen as medicine. In Japan, doctors encourage forest walks to calm the nervous system. In New Zealand, nature time is literally prescribed. The body heals better when it feels connected to nature, not disconnected from it.

My goal is to remind people that civilization was built by those who refused to make the world ugly. St Conan’s Kirk captures that mission perfectly. A small village in Scotland could have settled for plain stone, cheap function, and forgettable walls. Instead, someone gave it arches, towers, carvings, memory, and wonder. That is my vision. To find the places, paintings, buildings, books, and stories that prove beauty was once treated as a duty. To show that culture grows when people build beyond their own lifespan. To remind us that the world becomes smaller when we stop expecting greatness from ordinary places. St Conan’s Kirk stands in a remote corner of Scotland, but it carries the ambition of a civilization. That is the kind of world worth preserving. 🌞 NEW: The Absolute Best Time to Market Your Book Is Before It Exists by @BadRedheadMedia (free) geni.us/MarketBookBeforeExis… Readers can't buy a book they've never heard of from an author they don't know...I recently shared one of my more popular articles from a few years ago that always ruffles a few feathers: How to Market a Book That Doesn’t Exist Yet, and one of the responses was, “Why would you??” to which I thought, “Why wouldn’t you?” There are clearly several ‘sides’ to this issue, which brings me to Independence Day. July 1995: The trailer for Independence Day showed us giant alien ships, destroyed the White House and NYC, answered exactly zero questions, and then had the nerve to disappear for a year like a bestselling author who swears the next book is almost finished. The first teaser debuted on Independence Day 1995, a full year before the film’s July 1996 release. It revealed almost nothing about the plot, but it didn’t need to. The marketing created a question big enough that audiences spent the next twelve months wanting the answer. Marketers still learn from the campaign today, thirty years later. The best time to market your book isn't launch week; it's before you've finished writing it. 💥 Gratitude to my exclusive advertising sponsor, the always-free @Booklinker, and the paid tool, @GeniusLink.
