I couldn't stop thinking about the pairing of @DPRIAN_'s Don't Go Insane and @StrangeScaffold/ @WritNelson's El Paso, Elsewhere. Full respect to their visuals and music respectively. Definitely check out both if you like this.

Going to probably be posting here a lot less. It just feels bad to be on this site at this point. Had the other account for a while, but didn't get deep into the new site before now.

There’s a guy on tiktok who owns a company where you can complain about your boss anonymously and he goes to your work and cuss them out for you 😂

Democrats in Congress about to hand Trump the ability to destroy dissenting organizations. They’re doing it because they want the US to tamp down on criticism of Israeli genocide
TODAY: Congress is voting on a bill that would give Trump sweeping power to destroy any nonprofit that disagrees with him. Pro-Palestine groups would be especially vulnerable H.R. 9495 needs a 2/3 majority to pass the House, so it's up to Democrats whether it passes or not.

Walz stopped with the "weird" stuff (or radically scaled it back) because the Harris campaign was taken over by Biden alumni, who didn't like it, and they pushed Harris/Walz to run a much more centrist, Cheney-hugging, civility campaign. With the results we see before us.
In retrospect, what was the point of picking Tim Walz as the VP nominee? He got picked because he was good on TV associating Trump and Vance with the weird fringes of the online right, and then almost soon as he got the nomination, he stopped doing that. So why pick him?

Mayor Eric Adams, obeying in advance and gunning for a pardon, ends food voucher program for migrants after merely calling Trump. One thing that will be different this time is New Yorkers who voted for people like Trump and Adams will get to see it up close.

if we’d actually known how disinterested some of the key stakeholders really were in winning this election we may as well have spun the wheel on a third party or two. do not ever, ever let the democratic party tell you it’s your fault ever again. it's not
So Biden’s internal polling was showing something close to this map… And they allowed him to run for re-election?? This is beyond irresponsible and selfish. All of these people should be exiled from Dem politics.

billionaires blatantly bought this last election via purchase of media spaces, of flooding the internet strategically with their influence, and democrats are holding onto the past. they’re not grappling with the current political landscape that the right is operating in
Big congratulations to our 45th and now 47th President on an extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory. No nation has bigger opportunities. Wishing @realDonaldTrump all success in leading and uniting the America we all love.

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.

the country didn’t “move far right”, trump got less votes than he did in 2020. democrats just completely fumbled their coalition and alienated entire bases of voters

Trump getting 3 million fewer votes than '2020 and the democrats getting 14 million (so far) means apathy won the election. The country didn't go "further right", the pitches made by both parties weren't compelling and Harris' was even less so

Really disappointed that I keep seeing takes from actual socialists saying “well the country is just irredeemably right wing, nothing to learn here!” That is not a materialist analysis comrades!
