Meanwhile, as @Phil_Brickell @josephpowell and @taxinparliament as well as @AlJazeera have highlighted, many enablers in London helped smooth the way of this wealth into the UK - and tough action must be taken by regulators where a blind eye was turned.

Access to UK waterways is inadequate compared to countries around the world. Even when we can get access there are concerns about pollution.
We need to clean up and open up our rivers, lakes and streams for all to enjoy.

A momentous occasion for Germany and Europe’s history.
After 28 years of division, families across Berlin were finally able to come together.
Let us never forget those who were killed fleeing the East German regime.
The fall of the Berlin Wall transformed the lives of millions of people in Europe.
Today, as our continent continues to face threats to its security and prosperity, the UK will work with our European neighbours to address them.
