What a perfect Bible verse.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

I was listening to @glennbeck this morning and I’m in full agreement with him on the Iran conflict. If all we get out of this is kicking the can down the road further than any President, I’m good with it. He made the point that eliminating the IRGC completely would require ground troops and an occupying force. The American people would be very against that. The GOP would lose several elections. How many times do we need to learn that lesson?

Sorry, the FBI couldn’t get to your ridiculous FOIA request, Candace. They were too busy foiling a terrorist attack on the White House, likely organized by a group of your loyal subscribers.

Correct. Let this be your guide.
Let me be blunt: The "Iran deal" hysteria is out of fkn control. Some of you are being played so easily by "anonymous sources" and nefarious chaos agents, it's become painful to watch. Imagine being dragged by a ghost? Couldn't be my ass. Because I know who and what I voted for. I TRUST PRESIDENT TRUMP. THE MAN WHO'S actual public positions have been sitting in plain sight for a OVER A DECADE. šŸ“¢From his very first Foreign Policy speech in 2016: 1. Trump does not broadcast strategy in advance: "We should be unpredictable." 2. His position on Iran has been consistent for over a decade: "Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and, under a Trump Administration, will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon." 3. He believed Obama's Iran deal strengthened Iran: "He negotiated a disastrous deal with Iran, and then we watched them ignore its terms, even before the ink was dry." 4. His Middle East goal was stability, not endless regime change wars: "In the Middle East our goals must be, and I mean must be, to defeat terrorists and promote regional stability, not radical change." 5. He explicitly favored diplomacy and cooperation where interests align. (think gulf states ) "War and aggression will not be my first instinct. You cannot have a foreign policy without diplomacy." "seek common ground based on shared interests." So before I let anonymous sources, leaks, and people who have wanted Trump to fail since 2015 dictate my emotions, I'll look at Trump's actual record. The man has been saying the same thing about Iran and the Middle East for a decade: ā–«ļøNo nuclear weapon. ā–«ļøObama made a bad deal. ā–«ļøDiplomacy first. ā–«ļøStrength backed by unpredictability. The consistency is right there for anyone willing to read it. Everyone needs to just calm tf down and TRUST TRUMP. šŸ”—to full transcript in comments

Axios seems to have the MOU and shockingly (it’s not) it says absolutely nothing that neocons claimed

We stopped caring about your feelings right around this point.
Are there any republicans who find the Michelle Obama comment offensive? Are there any decent republicans out there.

Yep. All the worst and stupidest and most arrogantly wrong people are upset.
The fact that John Podhoretz and MTG both dislike the Iran deal, and are losing their brains over it; makes me believe it really is a work of art. Trump and Rubio are definitely doing something right.

This explains why all the Iran takes are so low IQ.
The biggest reason everyone is bad at foreign policy on this site, is simply because every person on the planet drops 1 standard deviation of IQ when talking about it. Then people lack the full picture, because a handful of individuals on the planet ever see the full picture. Those people are the DNI, the President, and whoever the President is briefed with.

Are you suggesting that the people with security clearance and get briefings on this, know more about what's happening than random people on X?!?!?!

This is also why "Trust In Trump" is the best FP.

Israel Firsters are not happy with Trump's peace deal. They would rather sink his entire presidential legacy than not invade Iran with boots on the ground. Not good people!

Hardliners in Iran are furious about the deal. They want revenge. Khamenei’s blood is still fresh, and ā€œnow Ghalibaf and Araghchi are signing with the enemy?ā€ The unity against Israel and the US is what held this regime together. As that fades, and the economic collapse continues, expect the cracks to show. One Iranian source on the ground told me the hardliner base wants ā€œGhalibaf and Araghchi’s heads on a stickā€

I have yet to see an explanation from anyone, criticizing Trump for not "taking out" Iran, where he would get the political capital from? How do they plan on explaining "boots on the ground?" It's literally crickets, just "Trump surrendered."

Trump is more in touch with the electorate than these guys. These guys are chomping at the bit for a literal forever war.
Unless Trump is playing good cop with a plan to allow Israel to operate unhindered against the Iranian hardliners, the US has squandered what remains of its moral authority in order to appease leftists, the leftist press, woke right isolationists, and Islamists. It’s easy to try for popularity. I’d thought Trump was in the fight for the right reasons, but it’s far easier to join the mob, as history shows.

All this dooming. I really don't understand. I started a side gig woodshop this year. It's doing well. My son started a side gig land clearing copmany and he has more work than he can handle. But if you listen to the doomers the sky is falling. The stock market is hitting all time highs. Billions are being g created daily. That wealth is filtering down to the rest of tue economy. But doomers tell me $1 more for gas(which is now dropping back to Trump levels) outweighs trillions created in the market. My area can't find people to work because unemployment is so low. But doomers tell me AI will replace everyone....someday. The debt has been an issue for the last 100 years. Doomers have been dooming about the debt for the last 50. I remember them dooming about it under Reagan and being young and stupid, I agreed with then, then 40 years happened and the debt was never, ever, not once an problem. But sure, at some point debt will be an issue. I doubt it will be tomorrow or the next 10 years. But go ahead doom away...if thats your thing..

For those complaining that Trump has not decimated and "flattened" Iran, these will be the same exact people exalting winning in November. They cannot make the connection that what they want has zero political support at home. Trump knows how to read the room and that's why he is such a great tactician and leader.

It’s so funny that I can seen the benefits of the war and its proponents pretend they cannot. Iran’s Navy and Air Force are gone. It’s theocratic leaders dead. It’s air defense and missile systems mostly gone. Nuclear dust buried. Warmongers: you betrayed Israel. Stfu.

The Weather Channel is owned by an activist left wing private equity firm called Francisco Partners.
UFC Freedom 250 is facing a chaotic weather setup on the White House South Lawn, with a 60% chance of thunderstorms, heavy downpours, and wind gusts up to 34 mph threatening to delay the outdoor fights. On top of the storm risk, brutal D.C. humidity is driving a triple-digit heat index alongside massive swarms of mosquitos and gnats that fighters will have to battle inside the cage. While the venue’s massive 92-foot overhang will keep the octagon dry, a single lightning strike within eight miles will trigger an automatic 30-minute freeze on the entire event.
