We can’t let these developers try to divide and conquer by saying they care about Black people. These same billionaires are colluding together in my neighborhood right now to develop a Bellwether District and an arena in Chinatown, and we’re not going to let them @PhillyThrive

Over the last two months, two of our friends have been gunned down, Black men whose lives were cut short decades too soon. Philly residents need home repairs, and we know home repairs are a key part of reducing violence, so why isn’t our city making them more accessible?

👉opt District 2 into the mixed-income neighborhood overlay
👉 opt us into the Public Land for Public Benefit Bill
👉 work w/ resident to pass citywide policies that prioritize low-income housing

As the city prepares its budget, we want @PhillyMayor and @CouncilmemberKJ to remember that a budget is a moral document. Will Philadelphia’s budget invest in the programs that actually keep us safe? Unless our communities are reinvested in, the violence is not going to stop.
