VERITAS is back in the budget!! ๐โค๏ธ The project will get going full swing this fall (FY25). Weโre looking at a 31 launch (TBC). Thanks to everyone whoโs supported our return to Venus!! Itโs going to be fabulous ๐

Congratulations to @envisionvenus mission team on the missionโs official adoption by @esa's Science Programme Committee. EnVision will study Venus from its inner core to its outer atmosphere, giving important new insight into the planet's history, geological activity and climate.

BOOM! ๐จ @Esa's Science Programme Committee has "adopted" both the #Lisa and #Envision missions. They are green-lit. They will happen. We're going to hunt gravitational waves in space and also visit Venus. Stupendous news.

โThese trailblazing missions will take us to the next level in two extraordinarily exciting areas of space science and keep European researchers at the forefront of these domains,โ says ESA Director of Science @CGMundell
The โadoptionโ step recognises that the missions' concept and technology are sufficiently advanced, and gives the go-ahead to build the instruments and spacecraft. Both spacecraft are planned to launch with an #Ariane6
