I know it’s annoying when we say "Everything is an ADHD symptom." But you have to understand the plot twist: We spent 30 years thinking we were just unique, quirky, or lazy. Then we find out our sleeping habits, our eating patterns, and even the way we sit in chairs are text-book symptoms. I don't have a personality. I have a collection of coping mechanisms in a trench coat.

Aurora from a moving cruise ship, North of Stravanger, Norway. (Phone pic of back of camera). Hoping the Canon 14-35 f/4 image stabilisation is as good as advertised.... 😁 A 1 second exposure from a moving ship is.... bold I admit. πŸ˜‰ #HeadingNorth

Breast cancer diagnoses rose by over 300% between 1973 and 1992. Was there a breast cancer epidemic?! NO. Mammograms were implemented for screening in 1976. PREVALENCE is a function of being able to correctly diagnose something. This is also about autism.

National Health Service palliative and end-of-life care is 70% underfunded, but there's funding for a massively expensive National Death Service to end the life of patients instead? Just think about that for a moment.
If the bill does pass we will soon have a national suicide service fully funded by the NHS, while palliative care is 30% funded, at best. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

The actual victims of #AssistedDyingBill will NOT be attractive influencers dancing around fabulous kitchens in silk pajamas. They will be poor, old, disabled and sick folk struggling with the rent - pushed over the brink by cuts in disability support, therapy and pain meds

You can walk in to a psychiatric appointment and be diagnosed with a personality disorder within minutes. You wait on a waiting list for an autism or ADHD assessment for YEARS. The absurdity of our system will never not baffle me.

Proud that our new MP @mpmwilko is taking his good local work on climate to parliament. Max's private member's bill would see solar power on ALL new homes. @libdems in government set a 2016 target for this to happen. The Tories ditched it as soon as they could. #SunshineBill🌍🌞
🌞🌞🌞 It's Private Members' Bill day! I promised action on the cost of living and to protect the environment. My Sunshine Bill would do both. It would force developers to put solar energy generation equipment on new homes. Good for the planet. Good for people’s pockets. 🌞🌞🌞

Excellent Private members bill being put forward by @mpmwilko today. It deserves to succeed. We should have mandated putting solar generation on new houses Long ago.

Beautiful #NorthernLights #Aurora in Gloucestershire. Initially wasn't too happy about the clouds, but they add some nice layering effects. Very good show between midnight to 1am UK time.

Since it hasn’t stopped raining in Cheltenham all day, on top of already very heavy rainfall over the last two days, this might be a moment to check your flood risk and @EnvAgency advice gov.uk/check-flooding

My god. I despair. The dehumanisation of neurodivergent folk runs so deep in academia. So much so that the realisation that autistic people have feelings is a β€˜revelation’.
No f**** kidding Glad that those research dollars are going to the truly groundbreaking things

In the gospels, you see Jesus get really harsh with those who use religion as a tool of oppression and self serving power. You don’t see Jesus get harsh with anyone for showing too much forgiveness, giving too much mercy, having too much generosity, or loving others too much.
