In January 1943, a transport of 1,210 Jews deported from Berlin arrived at Auschwitz. SS doctors selected 127 men to be registered in the camp.
The remaining 1,083 people were murdered in gas chambers.
Helmuth Press was among them. He was 13 years old.

Not only did Israel systematically hunt down and kill almost every journalist in Gaza, they murdered more than 700 of their family members also.
This slaughter went on while many of the world's most prominent journalists stayed quiet. It is an eternal stain on our profession.

15 December 1925 | German Jewish boy, Fritz Herbert Israël Glaser, was born in Glogau (today Głogów in Poland). He emigrated to the Netherlands.
He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork and registered in the camp. He perished there on 19 August 1942.

My name is Mietje Blok. I was born in The Hague in April 1942, 80 years ago.
I arrived at Auschwitz #OTD 14 December 1942 in a transport of 757 Jews deported from the occupied Netherlands. 636 of us were carried and led into the gas chamber and murdered.

Just like to say that as a teenager at a strict Catholic grammar school, I never remember being taught that Jesus said love everybody as long as they are white, racist, lying hypocrites.
