8 years ago today ā June 13, 2018: A high-end EF2 #tornado struck Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, injuring 6 as it caused major damage to businesses, destroyed the upper floor of a U-Haul facility, flipped rental trucks, and snapped numerous power poles.

One home was completely wiped off its foundation after taking a direct hit. The tornado track is clearly visible behind the home, with ground scouring and debris scattered everywhere. This was a violent and destructive tornado.
