To be clear: We will NOT comply with @GovernorVA’s unconstitutional mask ban. Our law enforcement officers are facing a coordinated campaign of violence including a more than 1,300% increase in assaults and an 8,000% increase in death threats. Our officers wear masks to protect themselves and their families. Thank you to @TheJusticeDept for continuing to stand with the heroic men and women of our law enforcement.
🚨Justice Department Files Complaint Challenging Virginia Mask Ban and Identification Requirements for Federal Officers "Law enforcement officers risk their lives every day to keep Americans safe, and they do not deserve to be doxed or harassed simply for carrying out their duties," said Acting Attorney General @DAGToddBlanche. "Virginia’s anti-law enforcement policies regulate the federal government and are designed to create risk for our agents. These laws cannot stand." 🔗: justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-d…

If she didn’t consent to wrestle with a boy, she didn’t consent for him to put hands on her, and she certainly didn’t consent for him to put fingers INSIDE her Every violation follows from the first Didn’t we tell you sex deception leads to sexual assault? Didn’t we tell you?
NEW: Prosecutors say they will not charge trans wrestler with alleged sexual assault of Kallie Keeler because of "case law concerning consent in athletic contests." If only the state of Washington had given Kallie the option to consent to being touched by a male.

This data center study the House cooked up with the Governor will be staffed by members of the data center industry and lobbyists. It’s a “blue ribbon” commission that’s designed to not actually accomplish anything. Giving a $2B a year tax break to Big Tech is not in the best interest of Virginians, especially when they’re paying higher electric bills to subsidize the data centers’ electricity needs too. Meanwhile, this budget gives the General Assembly a 150% pay increase. What’s been done to earn that?!

Budget negotiations summary: Mrowr! Hiss! Claw claw claw
Here is the full audio of @GovernorVA reacting to @SenLouiseLucas saying the Senate budget proposal includes a "tiered state impact fee on data centers." She says members of the General Assembly and her administration have tried to get specific answers from Lucas on the Senate's data center proposal and "never once was any proposal put forward." She said the specifics from Lucas represent progress, but it's June 12th. Spanberger added, "There is no budget language associated with that tweet, and when there is, I'll, I'll certainly do a more thorough review of it, but we cannot govern just by tweets."

The Frisch Who Stole Christmas
Parents have been pressuring Fairfax County Public Schools to make changes to the school calendar in order to get more instructional time for students. Now, the district is asking parents what days off should be eliminated, and that could include major religious holidays such as Christmas or Rosh Hashanah. bit.ly/4uy3N94

1 DEAD AFTER TENT COLLAPSE AT VIRGINIA CHURCH: On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a large tent collapsed during an outdoor service at East Lake Community Church, injuring multiple people and resulting in one fatality. Eleven individuals were transported to local hospitals by ambulance, while eleven others were treated at the scene for minor injuries. One person died at the scene of the collapse. Prior to the collapse, a severe storm cell moved through the area, bringing heavy rain, lightning, and strong winds. The weather conditions caused the tent structure to fail. The tent had passed an inspection conducted by the Bedford County Division of Building Inspections on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Bedford 911 Emergency Communications received the initial report and classified the incident as a mass casualty event. First responders from Moneta Volunteer Fire Department were on scene for the event and were able to immediately begin rescue efforts. Emergency personnel and resources from neighboring localities responded to assist at the scene. #BedfordCountyVAGovernment A statement from Pastor Troy Keaton: Our church family suffered a great tragedy tonight after an outdoor tent collapsed during a celebration service for our 20th anniversary. Just as I had walked to the stage to release people to their cars a burst of wind picked up the tent. There were several people transported to local hospitals and we are currently focused on caring and praying for them. We do not have details on their condition. Sadly one of our dear brothers suffered a fatal injury. Our hearts are broken for his precious family. We are grateful for all the first responders who are serving us tonight. We will have more to say at an appropriate time. #EastLakeCommunityChurch

Aren’t you the same person that used his government position to travel to Ukraine and drum up business for your private company while having your mob boss brother use his political action committee to illegally conspire with your Congressional campaign? Is your legislation going to exempt yourself from prosecution @YVindman ?
Scam operations run by transnational criminal organizations have become a multibillion-dollar industry that targets Americans every day. That's why I introduced legislation to strengthen our response to these criminal networks. I'm proud that it was included in this year's NDAA and advanced out of committee.

Despite the negative media attention that Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) receives because of their leftist administration and school board’s policies, @RepSuhas agrees with many of the policies of LCPS and supports LCPS Superintendent Aaron Spence. Recently, Suhas voted NO to H.R.2616 - Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act. If this bill becomes federal law, it will require elementary and middle schools to obtain parental consent before changing a minor's gender markers, pronouns, or preferred name on any school form or sex-based accommodations, including locker rooms or bathrooms if order to receive Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) funds. Also, it will prevent schools from using ESEA funds to teach gender ideology. govtrack.us/congress/votes/1… Let’s tell Suhas that he is fired this November!!

Rep. Suhas Subramanyam addressed the media following #Loudoun School Superintendent Aaron Spence’s testimony in Congress.

🚨 The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones, and Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano. The lawsuit challenges their: - “unconstitutional attempt to regulate federal law enforcement officers by criminally prohibiting federal officers from wearing masks, requiring individual identifiers, and functionally banning cooperative 287(g) agreements with numerous local law enforcement agencies dedicated to helping enforce this nation’s laws.” The DOJ said, “Not only is the law an illegal attempt to regulate the federal government, but, as alleged in the complaint, the law threatens the safety of federal officers who have faced an unprecedent wave of harassment, doxing, and even violence. Threatening officers with prosecution for simply protecting their identities and their families also chills the enforcement of federal law and compromises sensitive law enforcement operations.” "Law enforcement officers risk their lives every day to keep Americans safe, and they do not deserve to be doxed or harassed simply for carrying out their duties," said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. "Virginia’s anti-law enforcement policies regulate the federal government and are designed to create risk for our agents. These laws cannot stand." "Governor Spanberger cannot tell Federal officers how to do their job,” said Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward. "And she certainly cannot prohibit them from ensuring their own safety in conducting Federal law enforcement operations. Our suit today stops those unconstitutional efforts." "The Department of Justice will steadfastly protect the privacy and safety of law enforcement from unconstitutional state laws like Virginia’s," said Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate of the Justice Department’s Civil Division.

🧵2/6: If VA citizens want to challenge faulty, illegal voter registrations with their local registrar, they have until the end of June. After 7/1, HB 640 lis.virginia.gov/bill-detail… requires citizens to go to court just to challenge sloppy, error-ridden voter rolls.
