Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process. We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. Last night over dinner my son decided to teach his little sister how to fight. He’s ducking, rolling, jabbing. At some point she got one in so good she cut her knuckles open on his front teeth which frankly we all found hysterical. They were having fun so I’ll allow it. He’s giving her boxing pointers. Correct fighting stance. I ate my pasta and watched them block my view of the spurs game. Sipped my big girl beverage. Chat it was at this point I felt called to intervene and remind my sweet angel baby daughter of the most important rule for fighting when you’re a 5’2” precious lil thing.
