Starting 2 years go, you don't lock a single ADA for collateral on SteelSwap. We sponsor it 🫑 We're the first dApp on Cardano to sponsor collateral for our users. No more 5 ADA frozen in your wallet. No more "no collateral found" errors. No setup. You just trade. Here's how it works: every smart contract transaction on Cardano needs a 5 ADA collateral, a kind of "safety deposit". Normally that comes from your wallet. Instead, we keep a pool of ready-made collateral UTxOs on our side and plug one in for you automatically, then recycle it after each trade. One of Cardano's most notorious onboarding papercuts, gone ⏩

In 2023 the best deals happened while drinking beer out of a doggie bowl during the @book_io happy hour...
The best deals in crypto DON'T always happen on-chain. They happen at the bar. In the hallway. Over a late-night meal. That's why Rare Evo exists. That's why we chose ARIA Huge savings on rooms now, but they are going FAST! Act quick or regret it forever. Your choice.

$ADA is now included in the new @Nasdaq and @CMEGroup crypto index futures, alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other market leaders. The Cardano ecosystem keeps maturing, and Wall Street is noticing.
NEW: @CMEGroup launches crypto index futures jointly developed with @Nasdaq, tracking the top 8 cryptocurrencies by market cap including $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $XRP, $LINK and $ADA.

This was a fun exercise I did in response to a comment this morning, thought I'd share. There are many people just like me in Cardano, with a list like this, who are on the verge of having to close up shop due to a lack of opportunity. I say opportunity, not funding, because that's exactly what it is. There is no one new coming to build here. The leads have all dried up internally. The customers as well. Regardless, we should be working harder to keep the ecosystem layer alive. I constantly hear that community is our strongest asset but we are seemingly ok with killing off our builder layer which directly interacts with them, and where most of our builders came from. I'm not sitting here saying let's subsidize builders but can we get back to being a land of opportunity? Where teams came to build? Anyways, end rant, here's my response: "What value do you bring to Cardano? Do you build? Add functional expertise? Genuine question." I bought ada in 2020 and held til now, that should be enough to have a public opinion. One can only infer that this is the thought process and intent of your reply. But, I’ll play. I bring value to Cardano in a multitude of ways: -I bought ADA with USD and Savings -I own 3,643 Cardano NFTs -I own 136 different Cardano Fungible Tokens -I have done over 500,000 personal Cardano transactions and used the chain daily since joining -Supported hundreds of projects financially -I have 15,167 X Followers, who I continually post about Cardano related content to -Attended RareEvo every year since inception, Poker Champion 2025 -I signed the first Cardano constitution and helped draft it -I am a DRep -I was a voting member on the first iteration of the intersect product committee -I've owned my own Cardano based development company, since 2021 -Over 300 Cardano clients served (Minting/Staking/Custom dApps) -Over 1 million NFTs minted, 200 FTs registered -Open Source Wallet Connector (Weld) -Open Source Crosschain Wallet Connector (Weld 2.0) -Open Source Metadata Validator -CF North American Enterprise Vendor -Built a free to use API for multiple Cardano core functions -Built the current #1 NFT Marketplace -Built a semi custodial wallet (Hodei) I hope this helps, and I’m sure I forgot some stuff. I am no cracked out dev but I add value to Cardano in many different ways.

Maybe we can empty the treasury once and for all so when market recovers there won't be any treasure left to loot.
We need more treasury withdrawals.

After three years of building for Cardano, today we have difficult news to share. Most of you know and love SteelSwap for being the most advanced aggregator on Cardano with the cheapest fees. We have been in continuous operations and kept alive on conviction and love of the ecosystem. Thus, we would like to announce that we are not going anywhere. Times are tough, but we are tougher. Instead, we are doubling down. We are actively working on new products and features. Keep an eye out for the new things we are building.

So, how do we make sure Midnight doesn't have this kind of bugs? @MidnightNtwrk
Zcash has unparalleled cryptographers, security engineers, and security researchers. And the community is heavily focused on continuous improvement and hardening the network. That's why it engages world class security researchers to look for bugs. And that's why the recent potential exploit was found. It wasn't by accident and it's a vote of confidence, not a cause for alarm. When it comes to any L1, there will be bugs. What's important is that there are world class researchers focused on hardening the network and staying ahead of the bad guys. This has always been and always will be the dynamic of building software that is secure. Onward.

I saw someone complaining on Reddit that Leios will slow finality for txn down (40-60 sec instead of 20s). This is not the full picture. Lmk if I got something fundamentally wrong, but this is how I explained it (Elevator vs. Escalator).

I would willingly sacrifice any proposal that passed in order to fund @TapTools infrastructure costs This ecosystem can't drag out development, have horrible public comms w/ detached FE's, & now have no easily accesible insights/analytics for the "masses" you want to "onboard"

Said it in 2024... Prioritizing governance was a huge mistake. x.com/qcpolstakepool/status/…

and dont get me started on how both he and the foundations put their oversized finger on the scale of governance to tip it their way eat shit

Agreeing to spend 350M $ada from the treasury at the pico bottom of the last 5 years is probably the dumbest s#it the #cardano community could do.

Love you to death man but you are missing the whole point. The community you built is talking and you are not listening, in fact you are making it worse by threatening us. If we are the science coin, then cut all the extra stuff IO has their hands in. The other non research, non dev, non update proposals, and come back with 3 proposals that focus on core development, maintenance, and research. The problem I have right now is IO lacks focus. One post I hear research is the most important, one post it’s chain updates, one post its core development and maintenance, then sprinkle in all the completely unrelated businesses that should be running independently (although I do appreciate that IO contracts several community teams). All these things at once cannot be the top issue, you need to focus and pick a lane. One team cannot be responsible for oversight of 50% of the treasury spend. I can imagine it will be impossible for IO to be sustainable without treasury money. This is a huge problem that I see no end in sight for. I’m not sure there is a sustainable path to revenue, never been talked about publicly. If all IO proposals are going to be an every year expenditure, then they should have a much tighter budget and focus. We are forcing every one else to show numbers, provide a path towards self sustainability, and repay the treasury somehow. This expectation should be across the board. Also, show us the FTE rates and overhead cost!! The community deserves to know. It’s good business practice and will set a bar for the next round of proposers who look to further decentralize that work. Idk if you will read this or not. I personally do not want you or IO to leave. I simply am asking for focus, transparency, and a bit of willingness to change based on community feedback. Because this is not a good look for any of us.

This doesn't have anything to do with me. This has to do with destroying the entire core of our ecosystem. Cardano is the science coin. That's our brand. We spent hundreds of millions of dollars and a decade to earn the right to say that. You don't throw it away

🚨BREAKING: Midnight is in phase 3 - Mōhalu: Broadening network participation. As Midnight moves beyond initial mainnet stability, the network enters Mōhalu β€” the phase of expansion, openness, and real participation at scale. This is where things get serious. Mōhalu is not just about growth β€” it’s about stress-testing the network in real-world conditions. The federated mainnet begins to scale, onboarding more participants, more infrastructure, and more activity. Block production is no longer limited β€” it starts to involve a broader set of operators contributing directly to the network’s security and performance. At this stage, Midnight evolves from a controlled launch environment into a living, growing system. Key highlights of Mōhalu πŸ‘‡ 🌐 Expanded participation: More node operators and contributors join the network 🧱 Block producer activity: Moving toward a more distributed validation layer πŸ§ͺ Testing at scale: Real usage, real load, real feedback 🎯 Scaled Incentivized Testnet: Contributors are recognized and rewarded ⚑ DUST capacity exchange: Unlocking the economic layer for network usage But beyond the tech, Mōhalu represents something bigger: πŸ‘‰ It’s the moment the network opens up to the world πŸ‘‰ The moment future SPOs step in and prove their capabilities πŸ‘‰ The moment Midnight starts shaping its long-term resilience If KΕ«kolu was about launching safely, then Mōhalu is about growing confidently. And this is where the foundation for true decentralization begins. πŸ”₯
