Except no such setting exits in the app under the chromecast entry (this was Google's own how-to page).
Maybe it's under the Home app's settings? Yes, there's a Restricted Mode, oh, but it's off ๐ค
Maybe it's the Rooms settings, no, off there as well.

Can't play (totally PG) content due to Restricted Mode, goo to settings to disable

1) I've been in software development for about 35 years. It's a little discouraging that to this day, many people still believe that the point of testing is to get the right answers to prescribed questions, rather than to reveal the actual state of the product, problems and all.

@belairdirect I made a simple update to my policy over 15 days ago, & have followed up by phone 3 times - the update still hasn't been finalized.
Each time I'm told "don't worry it will update in a few days & you'll see the updates in client center. What's going on? Frustrating.

@belairdirect Each time the representative I reach tells me the exact same thing - it's a broken record and nothing is being resolved. They have no clue what's going on, just keep telling me it will update in 24-48 hours. I've wasted so much of my time. Extremely frustrating.

Confusion is a necessary feeling when finding problems with software. AI and automation cannot replicate this. You might think you are testing well but you really are not.

Once again, a basic asymmetry that people MUST remember. A test CANNOT ensure that everything went well (and a check definitely cannot). A test CAN help us to detect a problem, but we cannot reliably and logically say that there's NO problem; only that we haven't observed one.
