In Iraq, Qudra 2 supported agricultural infrastructure rehabilitation and complementary support including training in better #agricultural methods, seeds and #livestock benefitting over 17,000 farms and 1,500 households.

🇮🇶🍅🌶@QudraProgramme is also engaged in theoretical & practical education of agriculturists by providing a 6-months course at Salahaddin University Erbil - grad students & professors learned basics of regenerative agr. methods like permaculture & also created a mini food forest.

Qudra 2 contributes to agricultural development by rehabilitating agricultural infrastructure e.g. the extension and rehabilitation of irrigation canals, maintenance of flood gates, and water pumping stations, to secure irrigation for more farms and agricultural areas.
🇮🇶🧑🌾W/ support of @QudraProgramme, HIA has rehabilitated the Salamiyah pumping station in Iraq. These water pumps supply the 20km-long Al-Salamiyah irrigation channel w/ water, which is vital for the irrigation of 1750 Ha of farmland & directly benefits 700 farming families.

Yesterday, we celebrated the completion of the renovation of the Harem Health Care Centre in Erbil. The centre can care for more patients now, more than 25,000 per year.

Health is a key element for serving refugees, IDPs and host community members. The renovation work has been concluded as a Quick Impact Project, a rapid instrument put in place by Qudra 2 as part of its commitment to support local authorities in improving basic service delivery.
