This summer, #SURFO student Benjamin Ginnett used multi-liDAR SLAM with inertial measurements to map locations around Narragansett Bay with #URIGSO's Dr. Mingxi Zhou & Lin Zhao. The goal is to potentially use a similar setup to map icebergs on an unmanned surface vehicle (USV)!
