People have completely forgot how to interact with other humans. They are not some puzzle to be solved and not every interaction with another human will be intellectually interesting, it shouldn't be.
a lot of socializing involves performative interest and i simply do not give a shit

I'm not above this any of this, but we really forgot how to have a interesting conversation and socialise in a healthy way, how to actually ask a question ans listen so that it leads to something interesting and let's the other person feel understood

And its even worse when we talk about difficult topics with each other. Everything gets drowned by therapy speech and beuaracratic HR language. You will never have a real conversation, or build a meaningful friendship, if you fear someone opening up in a messy and clumsy way

"Goymers"
Those are the gamerslave anxiety suppression pillars. They put them there because the original art direction of TSC being on a lone, non-tropical island surrounded by water stretching into an endless horizon would have invited contemplation and awe, which could scare goymers.

This is Orson Welles talking about his friendship with Ernest Hemingway. Imagine if people were still this articulate.
