Students suffer when education gets cut
Did you know? 👀 For every one psychologist, there are 3,452 students. While teachers undoubtedly feel the impact of class size and complexity, it is students who are bearing the brunt of government's funding cuts. Read more in the STF Bulletin: bit.ly/3rd3VzH

Misinformation like this is why our teachers and students need pride. Here's a link to the real history of the first pride flag: history.com/news/how-did-the…
What shut down Leduc’s city council meeting last night? It started with a rambling commentary about chemtrails that literally change gender, the “gay agenda”, police using computers and the male speaker claiming he works with Smith and the freedom convoy… And then this…

The STF’s report card shows the Government of Saskatchewan is “Not Meeting Expectations” when it comes to funding K-12 education and supporting students. 📝 As the school year draws to a close, send a message to your MLA demanding more for our kids. bit.ly/41qInvS

This is a very big deal; allCanadians (not just teachers) have the right to collectively bargain and that right needs to be respected.
Northern Lights School Division is attempting to undermine the bargaining process with their teachers. Northern Area Teachers’ Association and @NLSD113 recently reached an impasse at the bargaining table while trying to reach an agreement. bit.ly/3pkd6Oa
