The largest Passover Seders in America were organized by @Chabad at colleges and universities. Held at sports arenas to accommodate the massive crowds of proud and confident Jews. A fitting response to all the anti-Jewish activity that took place at American schools.
For the first time ever, Chabad of Vanderbilt hosted its annual Passover seder inside FirstBank Stadium, bringing hundreds of students together for an unforgettable on-field celebration. Read more in the @Tennessean: vu.edu/knt33

Jewish tradition teaches that G-d alone will set into motion the miraculous messianic era–which is to include the Holy Temple–in response to the good deeds of humankind to make the world more peaceful and harmonious. Spreading that goodness and kindness far and wide is where @Chabad focuses its efforts. Want to learn more about Moshiach? Visit chabad.org/6654151

The most senior Chabad emissary has passed away. Rebbetzin Rochel Pinson, at the age of 102. She served the Jewish community of Tunisia for over 70 years. Rebbetzin Pinson was a legend. The heroic stories of her and her late husband, Rabbi Nissan Pinson, were shared with generations of Chabad students and emissaries. This weekend, thousands of Chabad shluchos, female representatives from around the world, will gather in Brooklyn for their annual convention. An inspiration and role model to all of them.

In 1975, Chabad lit a giant public menorah in San Francisco’s Union Square, it was funded by Holocaust survivor and music promoter Bill Graham. Considered the first major public menorah lighting, it sparked global Chanukah awareness and Jewish pride.

Could This Be the Key to Ending Exile? The Jewish people have been in exile for over two thousand years — scattered across the globe, a tiny minority in lands not our own. The road to Redemption can feel impossibly far. But in a letter written during this time of year — a period that marks the destruction of the Holy Temple — the Rebbe offered a different perspective. Exile began when we slowly drifted from our spiritual core, our connection to G-d and His Torah. So how do we reverse it? By reigniting that connection. Every mitzvah we do brings us one step closer. One spark closer. One moment closer.

Today in Jewish History: 18 Nissan Birthday of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, father of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Rabbi Levi Yitzchak was a renowned scholar who served as the chief rabbi of Yekaterinoslav (now Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine) for thirty-two years, until he was arrested by Soviet authorities and interrogated for his activism on behalf of the Jewish community. He was sentenced to five years of exile and sent to Chi’ili, Kazakhstan, in the remote Aqtobe region in Central Asia. His wife, Rebbetzin Chana, followed him there soon after, and even here, the couple found ways to help, sustain and inspire Jews in distress and need. After serving his term, now physically weakened by the hardship of his exile, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak and his wife moved to Almaty, Kazakhstan, where his health continued to deteriorate. He passed away shortly thereafter. In 1964, the Rebbe established a fund, “Keren Levi Yitzchak,” in honor of his father. The fund provides short-term loans to educational institutions and school teachers. To donate, visit: Kerenleviyitzchak.com

Honored to have @JoeBiden join us at this year’s Seder, as we prayed for Governor Josh Shapiro and his family after a disturbing act of violence.  This Passover, we remember: from darkness, we find light. From bondage, liberation. We must never stop fighting for justice.

✨ Today we celebrate the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of righteous memory — a soul who illuminated the world with boundless wisdom, love, and vision. ✨ Born on 11 Nissan, 1902, the Rebbe’s impact continues to inspire generations — spreading light, kindness, and Jewish pride across the globe. His mission was simple but profound: every person matters, and every good deed brings us closer to a better world. I was privileged to speak on the Rebbe’s deeds both in the halls of the Capitol and on the streets of Crown Heights, the latter of which just unveiled a new street in his name. May we honor his legacy by adding in acts of goodness and kindness — and bringing more light wherever we go. 💫 L’chaim to a life of purpose, vision, and everlasting inspiration. #LubavitcherRebbe #11Nissan #LegacyOfLight #district43 #crownheights
