My Friend Published a Book After he was Murdered by Terrorists When Rabbi Eli Schlanger was murdered in a terrorist attack at his Chanukah event at Bondi Beach in Sydney, he was one chapter away from completing a book on *universal Jewish values--the bedrock of civilization*, which is lacking in these fraught times! It almost ended there, if not for the efforts of his co-author, Nikki Goldstein, whose life doctors said was saved 'miraculously' after R' Schlanger prayed for her when visiting hospital patients. Nikki worked with Rabbi Ulman, R' Schlanger's father-in-law, Rabbi Ulman, to complete the final chapter. The book intended to fix civilization with universal Jewish wisdom, Conversations With My Rabbi: Timeless Teachings for a Fractured World, was released this week by HarperCollins simultaneously in Australia, the UK and the US. It sold out in Australia after topping all the bestseller lists there and is fast climbing in the US. At this fraught time for the Jewish people, this book presents an opportunity not to be defensive, but to the contrary, to go on the offensive, reframe the conversation and be “a light unto the nations.” The hate Rabbi Schlanger was writing this book to combat tragically killed him. But it could not stop his mission. Get it! Read it! Share it! Buy 10 copies and multiply the impact tenfold by sharing it with 10 people. harpercollins.com/products/c…

Rabbi Eli Schlanger was brutally murdered in an antisemitic attack targeting the Australian Jewish community as it gathered to celebrate Hanukkah at Bondi Beach. But long before that horrific day, Rabbi Schlanger devoted his life to teaching morality, compassion, faith, and human dignity. In a deeply moving tribute to his life and legacy, his friends and students have posthumously published the book he had been working on together with his friend Nikki Goldstein, a collection of timeless teachings for an increasingly fractured world. May we all learn from Rabbi Schlanger's words and may his memory continue to be for a blessing. harpercollins.com/products/c…

This is a different kind of book: Part memoir of a transformative relationship cut short by the violent terror attack on the Bondi Beach Menorah lighting. Part transformative guide to how we can all live holier lives, individually and collectively. Intimate, raw, and full of insight, these are conversations you will not only want to listen in on, but also continue with your own friends and family members. harpercollins.com/products/c…

It was wonderful seeing you and hosting you at 770.
Honored to visit 770, the Chabad Lubavitch headquarters, and experience its profound history and spiritual impact with Rabbis Motti Seligson and Shmaya Krinsky. The Rebbe taught us that every individual can dispel darkness by choosing light, tradition, and Jewish joy. Even in the darkest moments, let's continue to find the light.

@ElliotKaufman6 hopes President Trump is at least as sore about how the Iranians have been negotiating over the Strait of Hormuz.

True words by @MattHennessey by @WSJFreeEx about @ElliotKaufman6 "Being called out by the president isn’t the worst thing that’s ever happened to him, or ever will happen. It may actually be a good thing. The world is on notice now that there’s a young man on The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board who can’t be ignored. "Elliot Kaufman is on top of the story. The really smart people knew this already." #NotAMoron wsj.com/opinion/free-express…

The Rafi-Nia synagogue in central Tehran inadvertently destroyed an airstrike. It seems an adjacent structure was the target. Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, a leader of Iran's Jewish community, inspected the rubble of the synagogue.
