Once people start receiving compensation payouts and actual construction begins, many more land owners, who are currently opposing the project, will give consent, looking at the benefits. Construction could be done very quickly in Vidarbha and Marathwada as the terrain is pretty flat. GoM should expedite the acquisition and tendering processes in these districts. Even if the expressway section from its starting point in Wardha district to Solapur district is constructed in the next 3 to 4 years, it will start benefiting Vidarbha and Marathwada regions hugely.
