Spoke to a rando person today while traveling to CA from AZ. I told them oil is going to hit $200 in a few weeks.
This person, no b/c Trump just signed a deal :|
Pretty sure this person is a Democrat and has TDS as he made orange man bad comments.
Even if the SoH opened tomorrow, the SPR and the various retail reserves need filling. So how's oil going down ?
If oil was about to be secure again, I think the alternative energy market wouldn't be looking so good.

I collect antique firearms. Go on Gun Broker and look at the price of anything Colt from the 1970's. You cannot pay less than $3500 for even a second generation 1873 model revolver.
That's boomers buying. The ones with a nice pension, a home value that went 20x and they still get $2k a month in social security.

Elon, his Trillion and the Left.
1) I don't believe SpaceX is worth that much.
2) The IPO valuation smells like a way to get private investors out while 401K ETFs load up.
3) If the state took ownership it'd have to sell to make the money and the price would go down.
4) Injecting liquidity into the economy via NGO's would cause inflation.

My uncle was forced to immigrate to Kentucky by Toyota in the mid-1980s when the factory was being built. In 2008, he retired and sold his house. I flew to Kentucky, and we took a road trip to Mount Rushmore and Oregon before he went back to Japan.
Before Rushmore, we passed through Detroit, Michigan, and my uncle said something very prophetic: "This is what failure looks like." Toyota had just surpassed GM as the world's #1 car company that year. Detroit still hasn't improved 🤷♂️
