we learned this the hard way at Otus launched our private beta as a chatbot that could build onchain strategies and execute them. users loved chatting with it. but deposit rate was only 4% rebuilt around a familiar savings account UI. deposits jumped 15x

building this was non-negotiable for us. concentrating savings in any one vault - no matter how battle-tested - is a risk you don't need to take. spreading exposure should be the default, not a strategy you have to think about
