Capitalism rocks.
A man working as a welder at SpaceX for $28 an hour has just become a millionaire. Juan Hernandez, who came from Mexico, welded rockets for SpaceX at $28 an hour. SpaceX gave him $10,000 in stock when he went full time in 2015, and he bought more with every paycheck for 10 years. $SPCX is now trading at $167, making his shares worth over $1 million.

At @SpaceX, thousands of employees own a piece of the mission. Many winners.
I think the SpaceX IPO is going to create one of the largest employee wealth-creation events in modern history. SpaceX IPO this week is about to mint ~4,000-4,400 new millionaires among current former employees with valuation ~$1.75-1.8T at $135/share. This includes engineers… but also welders, technicians, cafeteria workers & support staff who took equity instead of bigger paychecks (FYI, this is ~20% of the ~22k workforce and some will be $100M ). This is Elon’s standard playbook across ALL his companies (SpaceX, Tesla, xAI, Neuralink, Boring Company) where everyone owns a piece of the mission instead of just collecting a paycheck. We are now just 1 day away…

Team Maxwell executes well. If you live in the 1st Congressional District in Illinois, take a serious look at this candidate. christianmaxwellforcongress.…
Sitting in an 1800 square foot manifested dream!! My Tik Tok family urged me to run for Congress over a year ago. I said no for months. Until I said yes. Now I’m sitting after winning a primary as the official nominee preparing to replace Jonathan Jackson. God isn’t going to pull up short. I trust HIS plan! I’m here for such a time as this! Thank you Lord! Thank you Team Maxwell for seeing the vision before I ever did. christianmaxwellforcongress.…

History rhymes. When electric motors were initially introduced to factories, the productivity gains didn't come from electricity. They came from REDESIGNING THE ENTIRE FACTORY around electricity. Now apply that thinking to the advent of AI.
If you've adopted AI at your company but haven't seen any tangible results, read this 1990 article: "The Dynamo and the Computer" by Paul David. When electricity first arrived, factories that "adopted" it barely got faster. They just swapped the steam engine for an electric one and ran everything else exactly as before: same machine layout, same workflow, same management. Electricity in, no real gains out. The most common mistake with any new technology is to drop it into the old organization and then declare the transformation done. The real leap came decades later, when each machine got its own small motor. Suddenly machines no longer had to be lined up around one central drive shaft. They could be rearranged around the actual flow of work. The productivity gains didn't come from electricity. They came from REDESIGNING THE ENTIRE FACTORY around it. AI is the same. Bolting it onto your existing process gets you a faster steam engine. The payoff comes when you redesign the work itself. (link to paper in comments)

2x to 3x performance. 10% of the cost. Everybody wins when that happens. Go @elonmusk team!
Elon Musk told Ron Baron he's building a chip that will be 2 to 3 times better than NVIDIA - at 10% of the cost "I have the entire physical design of the chip laid out in memory - I can visualize the whole thing" when TSMC told him a new fab takes 5 years he said: "five years to me is an eternity - my timelines go one year, two year, and at year three it goes to infinity" so he's building his own Tesla's self-driving has logged 10 billion miles - 4 times safer than a human driver - with the new chip it will be 10x "I don't own any vacation homes - just one house in Austin and a tiny house at Starbase - friends come to visit and they think I'm kidding" watch the full conversation ↓

What is stopping you from operating in your Zone of Genius? In his book The Big Leap, author Gay Hendricks identifies “The Upper Limit Problem” as the one obstacle blocking a person from achieving greatness. Hendricks divides human performance into four zones: Genius, Excellence, Competence, and Incompetence. For a 1-page discussion on the topic, visit rayhightower.com/blog/2022/1…

Life changing. Congrats to Maryellyn Musselman and @SpaceX!
NEWS: SpaceX's IPO is about to turn a 27-year-old ship engineer into an overnight millionaire. Maryellyn Musselman, 27, spent two years working on a SpaceX recovery boat off the Florida coast, the Wall Street Journal reports. SpaceX gave her stock as part of her pay. In her industry, that almost never happens. She also used 10% of every paycheck to buy more. She won't say how much it is worth today. Her plan is simple: use the money to start her own repair business in Chesapeake, Virginia. She bought a little every payday and held on. Thousands of SpaceX workers did the same. The stock starts trading June 12. "Mariners are not usually stock owners in their companies, they're not always under benefits." Thousands of stories like hers cash in on June 12.

Jensen Huang is a brilliant CEO engineer. Jensen’s vision for software development in the age of AI runs counter to “conventional wisdom”, and it makes sense!
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia: "Every engineer is going to have and manage hundreds of agents." The most valuable engineering skill of 2026 is not taught in any university. No CS program teaches harness engineering. No bootcamp teaches agent memory architecture. No degree prepares you to build systems that survive production. One builder mapped the entire thing out — free, step by step, no degree required. This is the roadmap ↓ Bookmark this for the weekend.

6:55am every Friday morning. AZMM = Discipline Consistency. A few of today's topics: ✅ Jump on AI now, or be patient & wait? ✅ Using AI to underwrite VS using AI to _help_ with underwriting. ✅ Choose networking events with care. Avoid events with zero ROI. ✅ Picking one consistent event where you can build relationships. ✅ Becoming an AI thought-leader. So grateful for this AZMM.org group!

Continuous improvement.
Starlink V3 satellites have >10X bandwidth of V2 and there’ll be >10X launched, which means >100X more bandwidth. Also, altitude will be 350km vs 550km, so min latency can be cut in half. Light travels 300km/ms in space, so physics round trip min latency drops to <5ms.
