Remarkable success stories continue to emerge from Ekiti State as the Farm Input Support Programme (FISP) delivers real impact to farmers. Pictures from the Flagged off in Ekiti. Thank you, South West. #RenewedHopeFISP #NADFImpact #NADFSupportsFarmers
The Federal Government has flagged off the Farm Input Support Programme in Ekiti for the South West region to boost food security in Nigeria. This comes after the successful flag-off in Minna, Niger State. The aim of this programme is to empower farmers and support their activities so we can reduce inflation, reduce food price, and have food surplus in the market. This is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda — a campaign promise delivered. @nadfng #RenewedHopeFISP #NADFImpact #NADFSupportsFarmers

The successful launch of the Renewed Hope Farm Inputs Support Programme (FISP) South-West Phase 1 marks another important step in the effort to support Nigerian farmers with the inputs they need to improve productivity and strengthen food production. Behind every farmer supported is a stronger food system, stronger rural economy, and a more food-secure Nigeria. To the farmers, stakeholders, partners, and everyone who contributed to the success of the South-West launch—thank you. This is what progress looks like when support reaches those who need it most. #RenewedHopeFISP #NADFImpact #NADFSupportsFarmers

The Federal Government through @nadfng, is steadily neutralizing the price surge of fertilizer and agrochemicals across the nation; specifically for thousands of smallholder farmers, so that they can have an upcoming bumper harvest season.

The @nadfng Farm inputs support program was very successful in Ekiti state Nigeria. It shows the continued support of presidents in ensuring that farmers have enough subsidized inputs for the 2026 farming season!! Isè Agbè Ise Iléwa

This is the Abakaliki–Afikpo flyover section of the Ebonyi–Cross River–Nasarawa–Benue–Abuja Super Highway, a landmark project valued at over ₦400 billion, and this particular place we are seeing now is the Abaomege section of the road, my own community. I must say that seeing my people so happy yesterday, shouting the names of President Tinubu and Engr. David Umahi because of this project, brought tears down to my eyes. You see, if you're not from my community, Abaomege, made up of seven villages, you will never understand what I am trying to say here. Since 1999, no govt noticed us in the whole of Ebonyi State, and my leader, Engr. David Umahi, confirmed exactly what I am saying yesterday. In fact, it got so bad at some point that we did not even know if we were part of the South-East, talk more of Nigeria. Then Sen. David Umahi came in as Governor and did what he could. But in 2023, God answered our prayers in full through Tinubu, Ọ́rùù Kà. Today, I boldly say that my community, Abaomege, is becoming one of the most developed communities in ÀlàIgbo, all thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Engr. David Umahi. What makes this emotional for me is that this road is not just passing through our land, it is rewriting our history. For years, politicians came and went. We listened to promises. We voted. We waited. Nothing happened. Our people travelled on terrible roads, businesses suffered, opportunities passed us by, and many of our young people left believing nothing good could ever come to this place. This is why I laugh whenever I see people who have never stepped foot in communities like mine sit comfortably online and tell us what development looks like. Must I reject what I can see with my own eyes because it does not fit somebody's political narrative? Must Abaomege refuse development because some people have already decided who they want to hate? Must we pretend this road does not exist? Must we deny the transformation taking place in our communities just to make some politicians feel better about themselves? History will be very kind to those who made this possible because long after the noise of politics fades away, this road will remain here. Long after the arguments on media disappear, this road will still be carrying our people, opening up our communities, connecting businesses, and creating opportunities for generations yet unborn. #NigeriaFirst #TinubuReforms #TinubuWillSucceed #StandWithNigeria

In 2023, when asked about the naira crisis, Agulu boy said: “I’ll devalue it and borrow to defend the currency until things stabilize.” Fast forward to 2026, same Agulu boy is dragging the government: “Why are they borrowing to do capital projects?” So borrowing was smart policy when he would do it, but reckless when Tinubu does it? Consistency left the chat.

He would have borrowed money to defend currency rather than to finance capital projects? What a shortsighted man he is. This man will never happen to this country.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU EXPRESSES SADNESS OVER THE DEATH OF RETIRED MAJOR-GENERAL ABUBAKAR, CONDOLES WITH THE FAMILY President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed shock over the death of retired Major-General Rabe Abubakar while in the custody of terrorists in Katsina State. General Abubakar, after a distinguished career in the military, retired a few years ago. He was on his way to his hometown when the hoodlums captured him The President commiserated with his family, especially his wife, who is still being held against her will by the captors. He also extended his condolences to the Katsina State government and the armed forces. While the terrorists have done their worst, the President wants them to know that the government will never bow to their demand to release their members held by our security agencies. As I said on June 12: “Bandits, kidnappers, and sponsors of terror should now surrender or face the full force of the Nigerian State. These windows of surrender will not remain open forever. And no mercy will be shown to those who trade in the blood of Nigerians. “As Nigerians, we must stand united and be assured that the enemies of our nation shall soon be history. We will triumph over terror and continue to build a more prosperous nation. “General Abubakar’s death should further serve as a defining moment in our battle against terrorists and insurgents, never to negotiate with them on any terms, but to continue to treat them as the greatest enemies of our dear nation, who should never be spared.” Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President, (Information & Strategy) June 13, 2024
