Play was not reviewable
Yeah like Scott Foster is going to review and assess Wemby a flagrant. Wemby could rob a bank and hijack an airliner and wouldn’t get punished

Has to root for Cleveland sports btw. Not even a real city.
they paid 5k to watch their team lose and that makes me very happy

Shove em in a locker
Since everyone hated this tweet, this connects to why governments waste so much of your money on sports venues. Politicians absolutely assume everyone cares as much as the people they interact with.

Here's the thing about the eagles. The window is closed, actually
If Dontayvion WickS TRIPLES his production from last year that’s still considered a “down” year for AJ Brown. The window is open & you’re trading him to a team that was in the SB last year. Taking on a dead cap of $20 mill. And replacing him with a Wicks & a rookie This sucks

This election is OVER
Susan Collins responds to Graham Platner's criticism of her vote for the Iraq War: "that was Platner's decision to serve. He was not drafted."

They're in the same conference, how are they not playing?
The Tar Heels will not play Clemson in the 2026-27 regular season, marking the first time since 1951 the two teams haven't been scheduled to meet.

Alex is one of the best in the business. It's a big loss for district 4 and hopefully a big gain for someone else soon
Today I received news that everyone in this industry dreads: After 4 1/2 years between Meadville and Sunbury, I have been furloughed from my position at CNHI. I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who’s followed along these past years.

This isn't every other business because you're playing a competitive sport. The point is to win.
Tom Dundon defends his decision to lay off 70 Portland Trail Blazers employees “People are happier when they’re busy and productive. And more people just creates more problems, usually. I think Portland just had too many people... The business I’m going to run like you run every other business.” (Via @billoram / @TheNBABase )

Someone picked the Mavs
Before the season, ESPN asked 14 NBA analysts who would win the title. 9 picked Thunder. 2 picked Nuggets. 1 picked Cavs. 1 picked Mavs. 1 picked Rockets. None of them picked the Knicks or the Spurs.

Sadly, many parents wouldn’t agree. Reason….in HS, little Johnny has to compete for a position. In travel, you pay for one. That’s the difference and most parents will never admit that.
I coach varsity H.S. baseball and travel ball… and I’d take H.S. baseball every single time. The school pride. The community. The rivalries. The pressure to win. The packed playoff games. Playing for your town. In my eyes H.S. baseball just means more.

no 6-foot-6 adult has ever looked more like a 12-year old than Carter Bryant being hugged by Wemby

This was not a bad take at the time but then Wemby scored 9 in 2OT lol
Wemby has obviously been absolutely sensational, and he just hit a 28 footer to tie it… WITH THAT SAID, OKC should take this shotclock down to the last possible second. If you make it, great. If you miss, it’s Double OT & Wemby is running on absolute fumes.

Extremely forgivable? We saw two plays in the last 30 seconds that will be in the first minute of the highlight reel of the GOAT in 20 years
That was an instant classic with an extremely forgettable finish.

They could move USA wrestling to goodale's office and he wouldn't beat Penn state for 50 years
That is not a good take. A terrible idea for the rest of college wrestling. lol
