META IS AN ABSOLUTE MESS INSIDE RIGHT NOW Wired just dropped an exclusive, and the details are wild. This week someone interrupted a livestreamed Meta meeting, open to thousands of employees, with an expletive-filled rant about "being the company's bitch." They told the presenters to find a specific Meta AI executive and "tell him that he's a piece of shit." A presenter covered their face with their hands. Employees in the chat called the start "spicy." Here is what's behind it. Meta's AI restructuring cut 8,000 jobs last month, 10% of the company. The same restructuring feeds a unit called Applied AI, where 6,500 engineers and product managers have been drafted in waves since April. There is no application process. You get selected, and your options are join or leave the company. Members call themselves "draftees." The new job: writing puzzles and coding problems to train Meta's AI models, two tasks a week. People hired to build apps for billions of users now assemble training data for hundreds of AI scientists. "It's literally the gulag," one employee told WIRED. "You have zero purpose in life all of a sudden, you barely interact with anyone, you just have these tasks every week." Another: "Most people find the work soul-crushing." At the same time, Meta started recording US employees' clicks and keystrokes to generate more AI training data. Over 1,600 employees signed a petition demanding it stop. The concession: employees can pause the tracking for up to 30 minutes. Zuckerberg's response came in an internal memo Friday: "We've made mistakes and will almost certainly make more." He repeated his promise of no more mass layoffs this year. His fixes: limits on the manager ratios Meta had deliberately pushed to 50-to-1 on some teams, bigger budgets for team events, a hackathon next month, and assigned desks by the end of the year. That same memo says Meta's north star is "to be the best place for the most talented people in the world to make an impact." The most talented people in the world are writing puzzles for a model and asking permission to pause the keystroke logger. META declined to comment.

This is insane. They literally reforecast the budget and “found” $1.5B, $900M of which is the safety net Gov. @GlennYoungkin set aside to offset anticipated federal funding disruptions. The rest are tax dollars we’ve collect ahead of schedule this year a.k.a. the first six months of next year’s surplus. They are already spending next year’s money. Can anyone say fiscal cliff? The same party attacking Trump’s federal funding policy are now raiding the state’s federal funding cuts emergency fund to close the data center tax gap. Yet spending $1.8B to hollow out capital square is a priority?! Does this make life more affordable? How’s Monument Avenue looking nowadays? #affordabilityagenda
The @vademocrats and @GovernorVA Spanberger are going to spend $1,792,510 of taxpayer money to remove Confederate statues from Richmond “Department of General Services shall remove and gift to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation all Confederate monuments and memorials from Capitol Square, including the General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson statue, unveiled in 1875; the Governor William "Extra Billy" Smith statue, unveiled in 1906; and the Dr. Hunter Holmes McGuire statue, unveiled in 1904."

This data center study the House cooked up with the Governor will be staffed by members of the data center industry and lobbyists. It’s a “blue ribbon” commission that’s designed to not actually accomplish anything. Giving a $2B a year tax break to Big Tech is not in the best interest of Virginians, especially when they’re paying higher electric bills to subsidize the data centers’ electricity needs too. Meanwhile, this budget gives the General Assembly a 150% pay increase. What’s been done to earn that?!

Why did @LCPSOfficial lawyers approve the filing of a brief in federal court that falsely stated it is well-settled law that Title IX covers gender identity? Certainly its lawyers knew that there was a pending case before SCOTUS on that exact issue (WV v. BPJ). Any comment on this @LoudounSupe?

📢It's been SIX YEARS since this video was shared far and wide of this father and his adorable daughter sharing their message to debunk Critical Race Theory that was introduced into our schools and is still being used as DEI by Demonicrats to divide our country. Their message is pure and simple "you can make friends no matter what skin color."

People keep asking: who am I? My name is Bert Mizusawa. I was born in Hawaii but raised and have lived most of my life in Virginia. I have a lovely wife and wonderful kids who have been supporting me graciously on this campaign. I got my education from West Point finishing first in my class. Then I attended Harvard Law School earning a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Policy. I served in the army for 36 years, achieving the rank of Major General along with awards such as the Silver Star, Bronze Star Medal, and the Legion of Merit. I was also an attorney, giving me a background in law and politics. I've gained experience in legislative work when I was appointed the role of Professional Staff Member in the Senate for the GOP in the late 90s. My strength has been in foreign policy where I helped shape and author key elements of the Trump foreign policy doctrine, which became central to the administration's approach. Now I'm running for Senate to unseat a 17-year incumbent who promised to only run 2 terms.

I sent a summary of my book, “The Brain Death Fallacy,” to Annelise Camp’s legal team last night. Here’s the abstract: “The concept of brain death is a utilitarian construct that allows doctors to skirt the dead donor rule by declaring neurologically disabled people to be dead by fiat. It’s been more than fifty years since the 1968 Harvard ad hoc Committee’s landmark report, ‘A Definition of Irreversible Coma,’ and there remains no medical or moral evidence that these people are dead. Also, the newest American Academy of Neurology brain death guideline explicitly states that death may be declared in the presence of partial brain function, even though the Uniform Determination of Death Act demands the ‘irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain.’ Brain dead people are not medically, morally, or legally dead, and harvesting them for their organs is a concealed form of euthanasia.”

BREAKING: Former CDC Director Robert Redfield Slams Biden-Era Military COVID Vaccine Mandate as Having “No Scientific Justification” This week on Straight to the Point, I sat down with former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield and Brianne Dressen — a vaccine injury advocate who was a clinical trial volunteer that developed lifelong neuropathy within one hour of taking the COVID-19 vaccine. Redfield exclusively reveals that he believes the Biden-era military mandates had “no scientific justification...and was an emotional decision," while noting institutional reluctance to acknowledge harms to young service members with strong immune systems. Dressen discusses the disproportionate toll the vaccine took on young service members, including @StancikKaroline who we previously interviewed. This wide ranging interview digs deep on the vaccine fallout for our nation's service members. @thelatmg @latimesstudios_ 01:04 Brianne Dressen: Her Advocacy for Covid Vaccine Injured is Personal @React19org 01:57 An “Inordinate Number” of Young Vaccine Injured Service Members 02:30 Former CDC Director Robert Redfield: Military COVID Vaccine Mandate “No Scientific Justification Whatsoever” 03:10 Most Severe Response In Young, With Robust Immune Systems 04:02 Soldier Karoline Stancik’s Heart Condition “Service Connected” To Covid Vaccine 05:01 Rare for Covid Vaccine Injuries to be Designated “In Line of Duty” 06:52 Drew’s Story: COVID Vaccine Injury And Whole Body Paralysis (Guillain-Barré Syndrome) 08:30 Service Members Spend Down Savings, Retirement, And Mortgage Homes For Treatments 09:30 Dressen: Vaccine Injury Compensation Has a “98.5 %” Rejection Rate 12:50 Dressen: Service Members Report VA Experience “Abysmal Failure,” Reluctance to Acknowledge COVID Vaccine Injury 15:22 Is Trump Administration Taking Different Approach to COVID Vaccine Injury: More Dialogue 16:55 Bressen: I Was A “True Blue” Democrat, After COVID Shot “My Life Changed Forever” 18:20 Karoline Stancik Update 19:04 Update @drewoutstanding In response to our questions, a VA spokesperson said “Between December 2020 and December 2025, 53 cases of myocarditis were identified among over 5.6 million VHA-enrolled Veterans who received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. Veterans are eligible for service connection if myocarditis develops during active duty…” A Department of War official said DoW “is making reinstatement available to all members of the military (active and reserve components) who were discharged solely for refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and who request to be reinstated. The Department has reached out to the 8,700 Service members who were unjustly separated to apologize, offer information on reinstatement, and encourage them to rejoin the military.” “As of May 2026, more than 200 former Service members who were discharged under the now-rescinded COVID-19 vaccination mandate have been reinstated or re-accessed. The Services are actively tracking more than 800 additional former Service members who have expressed interest in rejoining the military.” Asked about the high rejection rate, the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program did not respond.

Meta had thousands of high-paying jobs. Then made sure Americans couldn’t get them. When a visa worker wanted a green card, Facebook ditched its normal hiring and actively pushed US workers away from those roles. The result? The largest discrimination penalty in the history of US immigration law. The price tag: $14.25 million. For Meta, that’s not a punishment. That’s a Tuesday. When the fine is cheaper than the compliance, it’s not a deterrent. It’s a business model.

Somalis rank among the most welfare-dependent groups in the United States, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Six countries. Same result. Every single time. This is a pattern, and American taxpayers are paying for it. 81% of Somali immigrant households receive welfare. Even after being in the US for 10 years or longer, 78% are still on welfare. For native households, that number is 21%. They aren’t living the American dream. They are getting free stuff. And we are all paying for it. Moreover, mass Somali immigration is making our communities less safe. According to researchers writing in City Journal, Somali immigrant men have an incarceration rate more than twice that of men born in the United States. An immigration system that endangers our own people is one that needs thorough reform. Last week, my Task Force held its first hearing on Ohio’s Medicaid fraud scandal. I asked a Democrat State Senator one question: “Has Somali immigration been good for Ohio?” She said my question almost brought her to tears because of the hateful rhetoric. Democrats don’t have an argument against the facts, so they attack the people who find them. Luke Rosiak testified that 100% of the suspect Medicaid fraud companies he investigated had Somali, Bhutanese, or other African origin names. 100%. The facts are clear: mass Somali immigration has been a catastrophic failure for American taxpayers, American communities, and American safety. That is exactly why I introduced legislation to ban immigration from Somalia.

Scott Smith Takes Loudoun County Controversy to DOJ Roundtable Five years after the controversy that thrust Loudoun County into the national spotlight, parent Scott Smith brought his story directly to the U.S. Department of Justice. Speaking before a panel that included former Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Congressman Jim Jordan, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche, Education Secretary Linda McMahon, and FBI Director Kash Patel, Smith argued that parents who challenged school officials were unfairly targeted while those responsible faced little accountability. Smith revisited the events surrounding his daughter's sexual assault at Stone Bridge High School, his arrest at a 2021 school board meeting, and his concerns about federal involvement in school board disputes. "I hope there will be accountability," Smith told the panel. I was in Washington as Smith shared his story and called for answers years after the Loudoun County case became a national flashpoint in the debate over parents' rights and school transparency. 🚨 The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones, and Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano. The lawsuit challenges their: - “unconstitutional attempt to regulate federal law enforcement officers by criminally prohibiting federal officers from wearing masks, requiring individual identifiers, and functionally banning cooperative 287(g) agreements with numerous local law enforcement agencies dedicated to helping enforce this nation’s laws.” The DOJ said, “Not only is the law an illegal attempt to regulate the federal government, but, as alleged in the complaint, the law threatens the safety of federal officers who have faced an unprecedent wave of harassment, doxing, and even violence. Threatening officers with prosecution for simply protecting their identities and their families also chills the enforcement of federal law and compromises sensitive law enforcement operations.” "Law enforcement officers risk their lives every day to keep Americans safe, and they do not deserve to be doxed or harassed simply for carrying out their duties," said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. "Virginia’s anti-law enforcement policies regulate the federal government and are designed to create risk for our agents. These laws cannot stand." "Governor Spanberger cannot tell Federal officers how to do their job,” said Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward. "And she certainly cannot prohibit them from ensuring their own safety in conducting Federal law enforcement operations. Our suit today stops those unconstitutional efforts." "The Department of Justice will steadfastly protect the privacy and safety of law enforcement from unconstitutional state laws like Virginia’s," said Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate of the Justice Department’s Civil Division.
