@RealStevenSlate glad you released V7 of VSX, it brought back some low end that disappeared from various near fields. Desert is also a great addition, keep’’em coming! Immersions and OG’s are both great, I continue flipping back and forth between them.

Anyone who thinks LA hasn’t become a disaster needs to follow this thread. Wanting a cleaner and safer city is not right, it’s not left, it’s just common sense.
My wife’s car was stolen from our driveway Friday (along with 2 baby seats) but fortunately I have this article to calm her nerves

But the statistics say LA crime is down and the streets glow with golden bricks??
I’ve lived in my quiet suburban neighborhood on the periphery of LA for 15 years with no serious or persistent crime issues. This past year our neighborhood has been plagued with burglaries and car part thefts by a Chilean gang that is terrorizing our neighborhood. There are ebikers crashing into people’s cars and fleeing from police all over the place including my street. Our local park is overrun with people coming to the neighborhood to smoke weed. A homeless man regularly blocks the street that leads into our neighborhood. There are homeless drug addicts and mental health patients hanging around the bus stop where my son goes to school. This week someone tried to break into my neighbors house - she is a single mom - while she was screaming and calling 911. He smashed the door and didn’t care she was there. But don’t believe your lying eyes people because the “stats” say otherwise.

The UFO thing is infuriating. According to David Grusch, we have in our possession multiple non-human craft, and he knows where they are. So who cares about these black-and-white radar videos that look like they’re from the 1920s! Show us video of the craft and bodies that the government allegedly has or don’t call this “transparency”!

This is the start of my villain origin story
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic is out indefinitely due to a left hamstring injury, sources tell me and @mcten. He will miss the remainder of the regular season and his status is uncertain beyond that.

You have no experience. You’ve never started a company. You’ve never had a full time job. Nike is going to kill you. You’re a kid. You don’t have technical skills. You shouldn’t build hardware. Apple is going to kill you. You can’t build hardware. You can’t measure heart rate non-invasively. Athletes don’t care about recovery. Under Armour is going to kill you. It won’t be accurate. You don’t listen. You’re an ineffective leader. You can’t recruit great talent. You’re going to have to pay every athlete. You can’t measure sleep non-invasively. It’s too expensive to research. Athletes are a small market. The product costs too much to make. The product costs too much to sell. Your valuation is too high. Consumers aren’t going to want it. Hardware is too hard. You should measure steps. Fitbit is going to kill you. You can’t build a marketing engine. You can’t raise enough money. You need a real CEO. Google is going to kill you. You can’t be a subscription. You can’t build a brand. You can’t do consumer in Boston. Your valuation is too high. You shouldn’t make accessories. You shouldn’t make apparel. Lululemon is going to kill you. You can’t predict Covid. Stay in your niche. You are going to run out of money. You can’t build a health platform. Amazon is going to kill you. You can’t measure blood pressure. You can’t get medical approvals. The market is too small. You don’t understand AI. The market is too competitive. It won’t work internationally. The supply chain is too complicated. You can’t build an AI. You can’t raise enough money. It’s too competitive. Healthcare isn’t going to want it. … Just keep going ✌️

Definitely going to invest in a dedicated headphone amp for the Immersions, I enjoyed the Mike Dean “Mains” from the start of the VSX experience but I think it is now my favorite room when using the Immersions One’s. Also, the new calibration for the VSX OG’s is fantastic, bravo 👏🏼

The N.Y. Fed just completed a study that found that 90% of Trump's tariffs are paid by Americans. Since this is such basic economics, there really was no need to conduct a study. What should be most concerning is that neither Trump nor his advisors understand this simple concept.

This guy built a little car for rats and taught them how to drive. What I’m trying to say folks, is that there’s still hope
A Canadian man who had two rats as pets learned that letting them drive a miniature car reduced their levels of stress, so he gave them an electric miniature car and taught them to drive. [📹 emperorsofmischief]
