You know this is nonsense. But mom and pop at the kitchen table don't. If 1m people voluntary send 1000$ (1b$) to a person. Thar person is a billionaire. There is no more money. It changed hands. Many from the Wilsonian academic class believe the government should have as much money as possible. They have no problem driving average people into a rage, in order to get there.

Over history there has always been an appetite for dystopian mythology. Its not new. Having asked some esteemed neuroscientists to speculate why, the most common idea is its related to fear of loss instinct.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.

I'm in Europe visiting relatives, as a West Coaster, San Francisco, its interesting to see their view from afar. The entire West Coast has gone into an anti rational spin, narcissistic permanent adolescence is the philosophical center of the entire West Coast. Be afraid, be very afraid. @KatieDaviscourt

According to intepretation of the first amendment by the supreme court //Not allowed (compelled indoctrination): Using official school time, assignments, grading, or authority to require students to affirm, recite, or act out one-sided political/ideological positions (e.g., mandating acceptance of contested theories as fact, compelled "social justice" statements, or penalties for refusing to participate in activism-framed activities). This treats the classroom as government-compelled orthodoxy

Good point. Back in the information stoneage I listened to local NPR radio. A call in show. One day they talked about Rush Limbaugh. Shockingly they weren't fans. I had never heard of the guy. So being who I am i went to first source. It wasn't easy he was blocked from San Francisco radio. But I found a channel from another town. Not surprisingly nothing they said he said did he ever say. But that's not the takeaway. Both talk shows essentially had the same underlying theme. A caller calls in, recites something or someone he finds appalling, then states how "it" should be in a righteous world. One from the left the other from the right. Basically "it just ain't right Man". I came to the conclusion that the passion on both sides is from people who find reality distasteful and incredibly disturbing. Their objection, unbeknownst, is not to their vile opponents, but to reality itself.

This is true. But not practical to reverse. The neouro-controllers are all over this. Messages crafted to appeal to the neural basis of femimine pathological empathy guarantee large voter pools. AI can recreate whatever outcome you want in PathE (pathological empathy) terms. It can sell anything from blind puppies to doxing federal agents. As of now, there is more cognizance, much by free thinking women. But a reversal, is not started, would take generations to run out. I hope I'm wrong. but, this is likely like the plague. Such an inexorable force that the only choice is wait till the end and pick up the pieces and start over.

If all the NGO and government money sent to Africa built a continent wide power grid, with modern fossil fuel generation it would save between 1m and 2m lives per year. Year after year.

Lincoln. “How many legs does a dog have if you call his tail a leg? Four. Saying that a tail is a leg doesn’t make it a leg.” This is not a new problem. However to contain AI we can't have a population that is logically ignorant. While defining a housing shortage as not enough supply to fit demand, is an oxymoron. There is an infinite demand at zero. Or, the dogs tail is not a leg.

We are approaching a critical point. The best utility of capital requires an elementary school level of economic education. An intuitive mythology benefits utopianists. They know it's not real, but they believe it steers the ship of state closer to their ideal. Every year "zero sum" games and childlike petulant envy become the mainstream zeitgeist. AOC and the rest are on to a growth movement. Fueled by undeveloped instinct. Moderates and the hyper rational have no plan, other than unreasonable hope.

On the other hand Here is Grok reply. //Skeptic Research Center surveys of U.S. adults found widespread belief in the false claim that "white people invented slavery": Overall: About 30% of Americans.5759d5 Millennial liberals: 55%.9e6c28 Harris/Walz supporters (proxy for many progressives/Democrats): ~50%.324ce2 By demographics (not ideology alone): Over 2/3 of Black women (~69%), over 1/3 of white women (~39%), and notable shares among other groups. Higher among those with graduate degrees (~31%).3b9a9f "Progressives" typically overlap with "very liberal" or left-leaning Democrats, especially younger ones and those in academia/media. These groups show elevated rates of this misconception, consistent with patterns in education-focused critiques (e.g., college students often taught U.S.-centric slavery narratives with limited global context).08e11e
