Great description of getting care around the patient rather than the other way round

It is obvious why more women than men are prescribed anti-anxiety medication. Oestradiol is a neurotransmitter and low levels that occur during the menopause can adversely affect mood. @Independent independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho…

This is fascinating - statins may be inducing a menopause in women by switching off female sex hormones. This would then increase CVD risk. Surely research needs to be done in this area? @DrAseemMalhotra @TheBHF @PHCukorg
