These two short sentences tell you a lot about our government and our culture! 1. We are advised to not judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, But we are encouraged to judge All Gun Owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works…. And here is another one worth considering. 2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of Money. How come we never hear about Welfare running out of money? What's Interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't. Profound isn't it... Think about it.....

KARMELO ANTHONY UPDATE Karmelo Anthony has officially filed a Notice of Appeal following his conviction in the murder of Austin Metcalf. The filing, submitted in the 296th District Court of Collin County, notifies the court that Anthony intends to appeal his conviction to the Fifth Court of Appeals in Dallas. The document also includes a Pauper’s Oath, in which Anthony swears under oath that he is indigent and unable to afford counsel or the costs associated with the appeal. As a result, he has requested that the court appoint an attorney to represent him during the appeals process and provide the trial transcripts and records necessary for appellate review. To be clear, this filing does not overturn the verdict, grant a new trial, or change Anthony’s sentence. It is the formal first step in the appellate process and preserves his right to challenge the conviction before a higher court. Appeals are common in serious felony cases, particularly those involving lengthy prison sentences. The appellate court will review the trial record and determine whether any legal errors occurred that would justify overturning the conviction or ordering a new trial. For now, the jury’s guilty verdict remains in place, and Anthony remains convicted of Austin Metcalf’s murder. I will continue to monitor the case and provide updates as new filings become available.

Becerra’s only real “accomplishment” at HHS was losing 300,000 children. RFK Jr. just exposed the truth: this guy was too busy playing politics to protect the kids under his watch, and now he wants to run California? Not on our watch — Becerra is a dangerous failure who should never be allowed near power again.

Remember the Mississippi couple Billy and Virginia Blair who were murdered in their home by 17 year old Cordarius Hobbs last week? Turns out his two older brothers Cortavious and Cortavion Hobbs were just caught after shooting a Covington County deputy during a traffic stop. That deputy will never walk again. Three brothers. One family. Two separate violent crimes in five days. This is the story the national media doesn't want to talk about?

This clip of Charles Payne during Obama's second term is really incredible. Well done Charles. In 2010 Obama put the federal government directly in charge of lending money to students. Eliminating private lending made the loans much easier to get, but they were not less expensive. Before Obama took office, outstanding student debt was less than $100 billion. By 2015, outstanding student debt was approximately $800 billion and almost a third of the borrowers were in default. Of course the price of college continued to soar the entire time. This is the best part. Payne predicted that someday the politicians would be promising to forgive student debt as a way to buy votes. He was spot on. There are people like Ro Khanna on this site right now arguing that Elon Musk should be paying down the student debt when it's a problem that politicians created.

Friends, I need to ask for something today. Yolanda is scheduled for her liver surgery this afternoon between 2:00 and 3:00 PM Pacific Time. This operation is critical. The surgeons will be fighting to remove the complication that the colon cancer which has metastasized turning our lives upside down and has tested us in ways I never thought possible. Over the past five plus years, Yolanda has endured more than anyone should have to bear—surgeries, treatments, setbacks, victories, and countless battles that most people never see. I only share maybe one out of five. 😢 Through it all, she has remained remarkably strong, faithful, and courageous. She is still inspiring hospital employees, doctors and nurses with her counsel, wisdom and kind words. Today, I'm asking for a massive wave of prayer. Please pray for: 🙏 God's hand to guide every surgeon, nurse, and member of the medical team. 🙏 A successful operation with no complications. 🙏 Complete removal of the cancer. 🙏 Strength, peace, and comfort for Yolanda before, during, and after surgery. 🙏 Wisdom for her doctors and a smooth recovery. 🙏 A miracle. No matter your faith tradition, please take a moment today and lift Yolanda up in prayer, positive thoughts, or whatever form of support you believe in. The next several hours are incredibly important. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for loving Yolanda. Thank you for praying. ❤️ We are trusting God with this battle. #PrayForYolanda
THREAD: My wife, Yolanda, is fighting for her life. We need your help. 🧵 Over five years. Stage 4 colon cancer. Metastasized to her liver. Now her lungs. Over 100 rounds of chemotherapy. Five surgeries — including a brutal 10-hour operation and a 3 am emergency surgery at 3 am (last September), where a trauma surgeon gave her a 70% chance of never leaving the table. She proved them wrong.

🚨 The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones, and Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano. The lawsuit challenges their: - “unconstitutional attempt to regulate federal law enforcement officers by criminally prohibiting federal officers from wearing masks, requiring individual identifiers, and functionally banning cooperative 287(g) agreements with numerous local law enforcement agencies dedicated to helping enforce this nation’s laws.” The DOJ said, “Not only is the law an illegal attempt to regulate the federal government, but, as alleged in the complaint, the law threatens the safety of federal officers who have faced an unprecedent wave of harassment, doxing, and even violence. Threatening officers with prosecution for simply protecting their identities and their families also chills the enforcement of federal law and compromises sensitive law enforcement operations.” "Law enforcement officers risk their lives every day to keep Americans safe, and they do not deserve to be doxed or harassed simply for carrying out their duties," said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. "Virginia’s anti-law enforcement policies regulate the federal government and are designed to create risk for our agents. These laws cannot stand." "Governor Spanberger cannot tell Federal officers how to do their job,” said Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward. "And she certainly cannot prohibit them from ensuring their own safety in conducting Federal law enforcement operations. Our suit today stops those unconstitutional efforts." "The Department of Justice will steadfastly protect the privacy and safety of law enforcement from unconstitutional state laws like Virginia’s," said Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate of the Justice Department’s Civil Division.

If you want to understand why John Sipher’s New York Times attack on Bill Pulte landed the way it did, start with what the paper chose not to tell you. Sipher left the CIA in 2014. In 2017 he publicly defended the Steele dossier’s collusion framework as generally credible. In 2019 he argued it was entirely plausible that the sitting president had been compromised by Russian intelligence. In October 2020 he signed the letter from former officials claiming the Hunter Biden laptop carried the hallmarks of Russian disinformation ... a letter later tied by investigators to outreach from Antony Blinken to Michael Morell for the purpose of giving the Biden campaign debate material. This spring he wrote in The Bulwark that the current administration was doing structural damage to American intelligence. In May he attacked Tulsi Gabbard’s leadership at ODNI and called Richard Grenell an unserious loyalist. Then, this week, the New York Times introduced him to readers as a 28-year CIA veteran and former station chief offering sober analysis of a Trump nominee. His advisory roles with the Lincoln Project and National Security Leaders for Biden did not appear. His history of opposing every previous Trump intelligence appointee did not appear. The laptop letter did not appear. Sipher is free to hold and express whatever views he wants. That is not the issue. The issue is that the Times presented a decade-long record of partisan engagement as if it were the detached perspective of a recently retired professional. Readers were given only the credential that flatters the argument and denied the context that would let them judge it honestly. That is not an oversight. It is a choice about what the audience is permitted to know before being asked to trust the opinion. (article below)
