We are delighted to support today's Motion on the development of a Loneliness Strategy.
Loneliness affects people of all ages and backgrounds, and can severely impact physical and mental health.
A cross-departmental Strategy is needed to address this issue on a long-term basis.
ALT I'm supporting the motion for a Loneliness Strategy in the NI Assembly'. There are 13 organisational logos underneath: Action Group on Loneliness Policy, Age NI, Carers NI, Linking Generations NI, Parenting NI, Campaign to End Loneliness, Mencap, British Red Cross, Royal College of GPs, Volunteer Now, Marie Curie, Samaritans and Engage with Age.

We were delighted to speak at yesterday's joint meeting of the All Party Groups on Loneliness and Ageing and Older People.
The meeting highlighted the urgent need to progress a NI Loneliness Strategy to tackle loneliness among people of all ages.
