Dr. Hazem Bakleh, President of #SARC, met in Geneva with @ifrc leadership to discuss supporting recovery in Syria and strengthening resilience. They also addressed improving emergency coordination and delivering timely humanitarian aid.

For more than 3 million people in Aleppo & its countryside, reliable access to water depends on stable electricity supply to Khafsa water treatment plants. @ICRC & @SyRedCrescent & Aleppo Water Authority, is replacing key power cables to help ensure continuity of water services.

With a warm smile, Om Mohammad stands in her wheat fields in #Hasakah, hopeful for a good harvest. A SARC agricultural grant — including solar power and irrigation tools — helped her replant her land. The support reached 129 families in 2025/2026, in partnership with @ICRC_sy.

People with special dietary needs face extra challenges in remote areas. In rural #Raqqa, SARC volunteers set up a yellow‑corn mill for patients who can’t consume wheat — easing costs and ensuring safe, suitable food, in partnership with @UNHCRinSYRIA .

At the UN Security Council debate on the protection of civilians, over 85 states, led by Jordan, Brazil, China, France, Kazakhstan, and South Africa, along with the ICRC, issued a warning, stating that respect for international humanitarian law is eroding and demands immediate political action. As part of the ongoing response since July 2025, #SyrianArabRedCrescent has distributed non-food items to 1,524 displaced families from #Sweida and returning families not previously assisted, with support from #UNHCR.

As water scarcity grows and climate change impacts water availability, #SyrianArabRedCrescent are sharing key messages on reducing daily water use, drought impacts. Since early 2026, outreach has reached 3,305 people in Lattakia, with support from #IFRC.

As Eid nears, a clothing store in #Aleppo helps vulnerable families choose clothes that fit their needs, easing financial strain. With support from the @Kizilay, 2,035 households were reached Jan to Apr 2026, including women-led families, children, chronically ill, & orphans.
