Exactly Greg! MPs have asked for the cost of resolving all the cases, but guess what, the Government is refusing to give that cost. Why? To keep going with the same approach, without admitting how much it will cost is reckless. But also dangerous (and denying transparency!)

I was assured by my accountant that it was all legal and above board and HMRC knew about this and used it themselves - only to find I'am being pursued by HMRC for £1,020.000 and penalties and interest charges on top of this figure @LCAG_2019 @loanchargeAPPG #LoanChargeScandal

Not that a truly independent review should be considered as "promising the Earth". It's what should have happened after the first of the #LoanChargeSuicides, rather than the dubious spectacle of HMRC-influenced whitewashes - including McCann review, that have ensued.
