There's a whole process internally, months prior to when it gets leaked to the media that we are targeting a player, which include countless recruitment meetings alongside the data team. Does Wilcox like Éderson - 100% for sure and I know this is as a fact, but so do Vivell and Sansoni. One figure could recommend a player but they will only pursue that target if the whole team is aligned. During the target identification stage, Wilcox is barely involved.
