Buildings Insurance of £14.5k skyrockets to... 3️⃣1️⃣1️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ POUNDS!
Each leaseholder now being forced to pay £4k.
16 months since @mhclg said they’re working (with insurers) to maybe possibly perhaps consider action.

A new businessman landlord had bought the estate, hiking rents and treating their home as a pure "income stream."
When "agents came to distrain property against non-payment of tithes" the village blew horns to warn the parish. The family "hustled them back and foiled them."

We have given @mtpennycook stick over the past year for not moving quickly enough on leasehold – but the buck doesn’t stop with him.
