FDA updated its guidance on donating convalescent plasma to recommend that individuals have complete resolution of symptoms for at least 14 days prior to donation. A negative lab test for COVID-19 disease is NOT necessary to qualify for donation. fda.gov/media/136798/downloaโฆ

Volunteers from @RefuahHealth center dropping off blood. They have sent Mount Sinai up to 2,700 blood samples from recovered #COVID19 patients to test for antibodies and identified over 1,000 possible donors for convalescent plasma.
