Nah. I don’t buy your argument,
The real issue?
Alberta’s sovereignty movement is fuelled by 11 years of naive, dangerous and harmful Liberal policy on energy, climate, Covid, crime, Indigenous relations, immigration, hard drugs, gender reassignment, and US trade.
Many Canadians share the same concerns about the colossal Liberal crap show, but Albertans are more free enterprise and also are far stronger advocates for the natural resource sector than other Canadians.
It’s also fuelled by the contempt of Laurentian commentators for Alberta and Albertans.
It is easily solved.
The feds need only respect Alberta’s boundaries, drop their now discredited climate alarm policies, and build with Alberta a prosperous Canada.
But federal Liberals remain too sanctimonious to admit wrongdoing and to change.
Hence the ongoing conflict,
"Separatism is the inevitable outcome of that strategy left unchained, feral, and unfed in the yard. It is fuelled by very legitimate frustrations and grievances — but also by grandiosity, fantasy, and nihilism."
