These books are set behind the scenes of a TV soap opera, and written by the same person who is responsible for more #Neighbours than anyone else! A great way to still support the work you know and love #Neighbours army 🩷🩵💜

if i take my son (4) to the thrift store sometimes i give him $5. he found a record of “irish songs”. thought it was traditional ballads but one of the songs is about stealing an armored car and giving it to the IRA and now he sits in a big tartan recliner and listens to it alone

Tell me you're missing the point without telling me you're missing the point
The worst part about this commercial is they open with “10 million pets go missing each year” and ends with “we find 1 dog a day” That’s .003% That’s not even close to compelling.

Goosebumps! People often ask, is Shakespeare still relevant? Here is a great example, from the Steven Colbert Show, in which Sir Ian McKellen delivers an extraordinary speech. Shakespeare’s words are timeless, urgent and important. #Shakespeare #ianmckellen #stevencolbert

Statement by Becca Good. Read it @JDVance—and burn in hell. “First, I want to extend my gratitude to all the people who have reached out from across the country and around the world to support our family. This kindness of strangers is the most fitting tribute because if you ever encountered my wife, Renee Nicole Macklin Good, you know that above all else, she was kind. In fact, kindness radiated out of her. Renee sparkled. She literally sparkled. I mean, she didn’t wear glitter but I swear she had sparkles coming out of her pores. All the time. You might think it was just my love talking but her family said the same thing. Renee was made of sunshine. Renee lived by an overarching belief: there is kindness in the world and we need to do everything we can to find it where it resides and nurture it where it needs to grow. Renee was a Christian who knew that all religions teach the same essential truth: we are here to love each other, care for each other, and keep each other safe and whole. Like people have done across place and time, we moved to make a better life for ourselves. We chose Minnesota to make our home. Our whole extended road trip here, we held hands in the car while our son drew all over the windows to pass the time and the miles. What we found when we got here was a vibrant and welcoming community, we made friends and spread joy. And while any place we were together was home, there was a strong shared sense here in Minneapolis that we were looking out for each other. Here, I had finally found peace and safe harbor. That has been taken from me forever. We were raising our son to believe that no matter where you come from or what you look like, all of us deserve compassion and kindness. Renee lived this belief every day. She is pure love. She is pure joy. She is pure sunshine. On Wednesday, January 7th, we stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. They had guns. Renee leaves behind three extraordinary children; the youngest is just six years old and already lost his father. I am now left to raise our son and to continue teaching him, as Renee believed, that there are people building a better world for him. That the people who did this had fear and anger in their hearts, and we need to show them a better way. We thank you for the privacy you are granting our family as we grieve. We thank you for ensuring that Renee’s legacy is one of kindness and love. We honor her memory by living her values: rejecting hate and choosing compassion, turning away from fear and pursuing peace, refusing division and knowing we must come together to build a world where we all come home safe to the people we love.”

Wait, the Bondi hero was Muslim? Imagine how many lives would have been lost if we didn't let him in? I mean how can you tell who is blonde and blue eyed and who is Martin Bryant? It's almost like this has NOTHING to do with immigration #bondibeach

In 1800, China was so economically dominant that it produced more than one-third of all goods made on the entire planet. IOW, what we’re witnessing today isn’t anything new—it’s just unfamiliar to us.

The teenagers and adults also don’t deserve to be bombed and starved. You can also say that. We don’t need to accept the framing that they are guilty by age.

I am begging you please read every word of this
Horrible and the most horrific testimony you will ever hear I have spoken on a space with @AbujomaaGaza, who explained the process of the “Death Traps” the GHF have created…I quote “regularly posts the aid distribution schedule on Facebook. Each time, around 60,000 to 70,000 Palestinians converge at the designated site. Loudspeakers announce that when the green light turns on, people have just 10 minutes to grab between 300 to 400 aid packages—though much of the critical supplies, like flour, sugar, and salt, are snatched up first by gangs and collaborators. After the 10-minute window, the light turns yellow, signaling that only 5 minutes remain to flee before automatic machine guns open fire indiscriminately on anyone still in the area” He described the distribution zones as barren open spaces surrounded by high mounds of sand. There are four such points across southern Gaza, and in some cases, people must walk up to 40 kilometers just to reach them The GHF have created “Hunger Games Area” they play with Palestinians lives like it worth nothing!! Go to their page let them know they were exposed 👇 x.com/ghfupdates?s=21

Pat Cash: “I was meant to play an exhibition match in Mallorca. 30 mins before, Becker says he can’t play. They tell me ‘you will play a 14 year-old’. I go on court, ready to give him a few games, so he won’t be upset. I lose 2-0, and ask him for his name: ‘Rafael Nadal.’” 🐐
